Haydos Posted 13 April 2013 Posted 13 April 2013 Might as well start a thread for it, I don't really watch it but I'm back home for the weekend and having an evening in with my mum. Anyway, the fantastic shadow story that was on earlier by a Hungarian group is the reason for this thread. Go give it a watch. I'll admit it caught me off guard
StanSP Posted 13 April 2013 Posted 13 April 2013 Yep, strangely moved me, too. Became foolishly strung by emotion after watching it. Loved it all the while though. Rated it higher than the 11 year old who sang that One Night Only song originally by Jennifer Hudson. That very young comedian with cerebral palsy was top, too. Seen him on TV before. May have been at some Pride of Britain award thing.
Vlad the Fox Posted 14 April 2013 Posted 14 April 2013 I thought this was brilliant. Not a regular viewer of BGT but so glad I saw this last night, probably the best and most original act I've ever seen on the programme. Very moving as well.
SystonFox Posted 14 April 2013 Posted 14 April 2013 That shadow group has been done before. Maybe not them but that act has been at the royal variety very recently
cambridgefox Posted 14 April 2013 Posted 14 April 2013 That shadow group has been done before. Maybe not them but that act has been at the royal variety very recently Thats what my Mrs told me,although this was better. The lad with cerebral pawsey was good and thought he was fairly quick to give a witty reply when A or D asked him something.
Bayfox Posted 14 April 2013 Posted 14 April 2013 The kid in the chair got a sympathy vote. Ok shoot me. But how far does an act go when their act is to take the piss out of themselves. As for his parents thinking it's great. I'd question if he had issues and it was a self defence act and he had depression.
Zingari Posted 14 April 2013 Posted 14 April 2013 That shadow act is absolutely fantastic .Thanks OP . I have to admit that I welled up with a few tears at that . I've not seen many other acts yet , but that little girl singer ( Allessandro?) is very good too.
Guest Basildon Fox Posted 14 April 2013 Posted 14 April 2013 The filthy looking older woman that did the chair exercises gets my vote. My turn to have the kids this weekend so we had pretty much on what they wanted. Started with Doctor Who which wasn't a bad start. Went down hill from there though. Sat through the warbling competition they call the voice, then onto BGT then BG more T. Didn't even have any booze to numb the intense boredom of these shows.
Northants Fox 3 Posted 14 April 2013 Posted 14 April 2013 The lad with cerebral pawsey was good and thought he was fairly quick to give a witty reply when A or D asked him something. Yea I thought he was good, he was also very quick with a witty comeback when Simon asked him to tell them a bit about himself
