CKB Posted 10 June 2013 Posted 10 June 2013 But if they phone him to question the bill and he says yeah it's fine, what can they do? They are not going to stop someone who wants to make phone calls and accepts responsibility for them. My understanding of pay lines is that they get the money from the phone companies, I guess it just depends whether Vodafone is still liable if their customer doesn't pay, or if they cover themselves in the contract. I think they have a policy in place where they can suspend all outgoing calls and with the amount of calls that were being made surely this should have been done?? Plus if they rung him and he said "it's fine" they would not accept that and would probably demand a payment, if he ignored them his services should have been suspended
lavrentis Posted 10 June 2013 Posted 10 June 2013 Should've spoken to lav on here for advice, would've avoided all this with his no-nonsense style. you what ?
Orkneyfox Posted 10 June 2013 Posted 10 June 2013 Probably reason as to why they let it keep building is because this wasn't just a mobile to mobile bill.... or long distance calls to Australia or anything like that... this was a call to a premium rate number who then pass that bill on to Vodaphone as it was their number calling it.... so in other words SOMEONE has to pay babestation... and why should it be Vodafone? I accidentally watched babestation one day and all the not quite naked young ladies seemed to be holding telephones. More to the point did they offer him any useful counseling or was it just a series of self pity w*nks?
Vlad the Fox Posted 10 June 2013 Posted 10 June 2013 Step aside warnock. This bloke is now the U.K's most famous willy puller.
CKB Posted 10 June 2013 Posted 10 June 2013 I accidentally watched babestation one day and all the not quite naked young ladies seemed to be holding telephones. More to the pinto did they offer him any useful counseling or was it just a series of self pity w*nks? He said he thought they genuinely cared about his current predicament and they gave him advice on how to cope with the break up, he also said they promised to meet him ... It was of course all bullshit, he was dumb to think that because all they are doing is making money for themselves and the company they work for
