Darth Fox Posted 4 August 2005 Share Posted 4 August 2005 Striker is vitaly important for Foxes this season. Need someone with blinding pace and finishing.
Hazza Posted 4 August 2005 Share Posted 4 August 2005 Depends how much really, but he seems to suit the profile of striker we're after - young, quick, experienced at and has scored goals at this level.
Muz Posted 4 August 2005 Share Posted 4 August 2005 Good player with alot of potential. Young , Quick and and Confident does'nt he fit the bill?

Ricey Posted 4 August 2005 Share Posted 4 August 2005 He has always impressed me when I've seen him, would be a good signing.
Scow Posted 4 August 2005 Share Posted 4 August 2005 I can't say I've been impressed by him. Just an average Championship striker, who wouldn't really add much to our team.
Lester LXXIV Posted 4 August 2005 Share Posted 4 August 2005 My Argyle mate seems to think he's signing for them but I suppose when this happens every club at that level will be involved in the rumours....
Cobbo Posted 4 August 2005 Share Posted 4 August 2005 I think he's a bit pants in all honesty. Would expect someone of much higher quality

Just an average Championship striker, who wouldn't really add much to our team. 149531[/snapback] I don't really think we will get a *good* Championship striker to be our 3rd/4th choice striker. An "average championship stiker" would do fine.

Hitesh Posted 4 August 2005 Share Posted 4 August 2005 It would be good to see him at Leicester. I think he is a decent Championship player and would be good to have in the squad. Gives the manager more options.
Ric Flair Posted 4 August 2005 Share Posted 4 August 2005 For £100k I don't think we could get anyone better. I hadn't ever heard of him before last season, but he scored some crucial goals for Derby last season. I think the only reason why Derby are letting him go, is because of the alleged fracas between him and Geroge Burley.

Who ever we sign needs to be first choice to play alongside Connolly. Notice it’s all gone quite on the striker search side though......I reckon he's struggling. supedaj Posted 4 August 2005 Share Posted 4 August 2005 yep - he's stated that all along. He cant drop DC for obvious reasons and he's got faith in De Vries. I suggest fans against this get used to it because its not gonna change .. especially in teh short term anyway. Dublin is 3rd/4th choice so CL needs one more (non starter unless injuries hit) to complete the competition for strikers.. http://www.thebluearmy.co.uk/details.asp?k...482005383329531 the above just proves it!
