Everton want Jesse Lingard on a season long loan

True. Plus I think the Championship was a little too physical for him.

He seems like a player that needs time on the ball.

Would be interesting to see if he can cut it in the prem.

Good luck to him if the loan deal does happen

Would be typical for him be play like Messi for Everton

Was going to post something along these lines.

He was shit for us, so he's bound to be a god everywhere else he goes.

True. Then no doubt it will probably be Pearson's fault for turning him into a rubbish player when on loan with us and not getting the best put of him.

Creative player looks shit here but good elsewhere shock. All hail Nigel the tactical genius.

Try making one comment on here without having a dig at Pearson. Go on, I dare ya.

He played about 5 games and mostly the last 20 minutes of those games. Ok he didn't look amazing, but I don't think you can judge a player on that amount of game time.

He's obviously at Manchester United, one of the World's biggest clubs, for a reason. He impressed in pre season and I think he has made the England under-21 squad.

Now another big club and good team, Everton, want him.

He must be doing something right. Can't see how we can judge him on 5 minutes per game.

To be fair, he came to us during a tough time and it's a bit daft to expect a young lad who's never played Championship football to come in and set the world alight after a few sub appearances. I think Kane suffered for the same reason as well, despite he fact that he had some experience of Championship football. I wouldn't be averse to either of them coming back and giving them a more sustained chance to impress in the first team, as I'm sure they have a lot more to offer than what we actually saw while they were here.

Too young, lightweight and green when we had him.

Maybe he has developed, or maybe Martinez is just a shit Manager?
