Oh dear, oh dear... How sad that you must cling onto achievements so buried in the past like a smack-head clinging to his year 4 swimming medal while whimpering in a pool of his own urine.
Saxondale Posted 15 October 2013 Posted 15 October 2013 That is ruddy hilarious! The Cherries may feel more than a little dazed by the grandeur and history of their famous opponents Was this kid on crack when he wrote this?
Yojoe36 Posted 15 October 2013 Posted 15 October 2013 Unimpressive things about Bournemouth: Average attendance: A hardly-whopping 7,363 compared to Forest’s 23,082. Icon: Harry Redknapp is a legend at Bournemouth. He was sacked by Spurs and then successfully relegated as manager of Q.P.R. Manager: Eddie Howe returned to Hampshire after failing to make the grade at Burnley - now topping the table under Sean Dyche. Get rekt
Corky Posted 15 October 2013 Posted 15 October 2013 Didn't they mention the last meeting between the clubs, which was a 2-0 win for Bournemouth?
Fox92 Posted 15 October 2013 Posted 15 October 2013 I think it is quite tongue in cheek. I've met a lot of Nottingham Forest fans, went to school with a lot, of none of them came over as 'we are bigger than you'.
Dan Posted 15 October 2013 Posted 15 October 2013 The way he goes on you'd think they were above Burnley or something.
Guest Bilo Posted 15 October 2013 Posted 15 October 2013 Gotta be tongue in cheek surely? I think it is quite tongue in cheek. I've met a lot of Nottingham Forest fans, went to school with a lot, of none of them came over as 'we are bigger than you'. You would hope it's tongue in cheek, but it genuinely wouldn't shock me if it wasn't. All of that 'world famous City Ground' nonsense can turn a mug's head.
Saxondale Posted 19 October 2013 Posted 19 October 2013 1-1. Cracking result Forest! The famous City Ground, eh?
Jordan Posted 20 October 2013 Posted 20 October 2013 I thought the article was hilarious, funnier still because the Bournemouth fans commenting couldn't detect the blatant tongue-in-cheek humor, and it's even funnier today considering the result.
