Sarcasm is just another thing that DANGEROUS TIGER simply doesn't understand.

Aah so you're 'what's wrong with this forum' all those multiple accounts. That's one way to get around having a bad reputation

  ;)

nah davie g, although some posters on here know what there on about, 75% dont and talk complete and utter rubbish.

I thought the atmos yesterday was brilliant. It was a shame our lads got outsung though.

Would it have been a bit more 'tasty' with a bit of aggro? You decide.

nah, fighting doesn't excite me, I prefer watching football, not the opposition fans.

I couldn't say as I was born in 93, but you only have to speak to people who are around then and watch videos of the old games that whilst taking out hooliganism, atmospheres took a huge hit too.

Relax Gents.

Believe it or not, I tend not to get too twisted inside out on the forum, particularly when I am conjuring up a Chicken Provencial...

From Leicester agro to ordering capsicum and rosemary from Ocado. You've changed, man. You've changed.....

Although there was a fair few of they lads out on Saturday there wasn't much trouble thankfully, a few isolated incidents but in general 'hooliganism' is well controlled and limited nowadays. We have moved on it's a different time and in my opinion a better time. I do miss the edge and the atmosphere but certainly not the violence.

Like davie I was a regular at City in the 60s, it was loud, raucous and there was a fair amount of jostling and pushing and shoving but real violence was pretty rare.

I can remember going into the Trent End with a bunch of Koppites, lots of verbals, some posturing and pushing and shoving but not much more. Similarly I can remember groups of rival fans getting into the Kop but I can not recall any real violence.

By the time it all started to change in the 70s I had moved away so have very little experience of the real violent period, though I do recall getting caught up with a mob of Chelsea fans on one occasion, not nice.

Pre hooliganism the atmosphere in Filbert st was pretty phenomenal, even at it's worse our 'core support' was believed to be around 28k, and 40k plus for a big game was an experience I will never forget. Couldn't get a prawn sandwich if you life depended on it.
