jammie82uk Posted 19 November 2013 Posted 19 November 2013 i think personally the club is getting a rough ride for something that is out of their control concerning the website the club do not choose who does the hosting or the bandwidth available to the site the football league have their own agreement with the website hosts just go to any of the 76 football league teams website and they are all laid out the same way
topharry123 Posted 19 November 2013 Posted 19 November 2013 The system may not have been the best but fact is any system would have struggled with people trying to get a handful of tickets from people logging on from all around the world. Maybe you should have put into the equation the fact that there were only a few tickets left. Maybe your planning was not that good.? Maybe it wasn't, but the website still let me down. Last week when I got world cup tickets, you logged on then the system put you in the virtual queue securing your spot. Those of us that got there earliest got tickets. Those that logged on later in the day missed out. Fairest way of doing it, just like lining up outside the ticket office. Can you imagine how annoyed you'd be if you were at the front of the ticket office line, then someone casually strolls in 4 hours later and manages to get tickets while you don't? Same principle.

Russell sprout Posted 19 November 2013 Posted 19 November 2013 Today was completely ****ed up. I have my flight booked to England the day before and get in on the Monday. I've made arrangements to get to the game, then the POS website stalled me for EIGHT ****ING HOURS. I was on there first thing, refreshed all day and when I finally got onto the site the tickets were all gone. $2k on a flight, $250 on a hotel, no ticket. The club has some explaining to do on this. Il sell you a ticket if your desperate for 1
topharry123 Posted 19 November 2013 Posted 19 November 2013 Websites crash with high volume.People don't. Funny because the world cup website didn't.
jammie82uk Posted 19 November 2013 Posted 19 November 2013 Funny because the world cup website didn't. and like i put above its not the clubs fault the website crashed
Soar Fox Posted 19 November 2013 Posted 19 November 2013 and like i put above its not the clubs fault the website crashed Multiple accounts??
jammie82uk Posted 19 November 2013 Posted 19 November 2013 Multiple accounts?? I have seen people mention how they got people in the office or friends and family to try logging into the site all at the same time with the same details so that wouldn't have helped matters but it would be down to bandwidth at the end of the day It wouldn't have mattered what football league team website it was it would have crashed
dynamark Posted 19 November 2013 Posted 19 November 2013 I just popped down at lunch to pick up a couple for daughter and myself and......nothing. Proper plastic fan all the way from narborough and this is the way the club treat us.Got a residents parking permit sorted and everything I shall be in touch with Kieth Vaz in the morning. Seriously would have loved tickets club should extend the ground. There are a couple of rows behind the press areas that always seem empty presumably for any press guys that want to pitchup. Shame
