lestajigs Posted 17 November 2013 Posted 17 November 2013 Hey, you ok mate? Manchester City were getting 30,000 when they were in Division One back in the day. Probably one of the most loyal sets of fans there is. But couldn't sell out at Chelsea the other week
Ashley Posted 17 November 2013 Posted 17 November 2013 But couldn't sell out at Chelsea the other week You're point being? I don't know the situation there but have you ever thought Manchester City fans could have boycotted the game due to ticket prices? Or they had a reduced allocation?
Lionheart Posted 17 November 2013 Posted 17 November 2013 hahaha queuing ?!!!! It's man city ffs in the micky mouse cup !!! Not Real Madrid champions league semi final. Man City are not some massive club all of a sudden just because they're won a premiership and got billions of pounds. They're never be in my eyes a top club because they haven't got the fanbase to back it up. Que over night to watch man city in a micky mouse cup ... God they're some sad people in this world. Hugo my man, seeing as it is as likely of us playing Real Madrid in the semi final of the champions league as it is Jimmy Saville being posthumously made President of Childline then I reckon this is a big game for us at present.

I don't know the situation there but have you ever thought Manchester City fans could have boycotted the game due to ticket prices? Or they had a reduced allocation? Meaning there not the most loyal fans in the world, yes they had fantastic support in league 1, but after winning the tittle, there away support is not a patch on Man U, arsenal, Liverpool, even Everton, Newcastle, and maybe even leeds
Ashley Posted 17 November 2013 Posted 17 November 2013 Meaning there not the most loyal fans in the world, yes they had fantastic support in league 1, but after winning the tittle, there away support is not a patch on Man U, arsenal, Liverpool, even Everton, Newcastle, and maybe even leeds Again I refer to my reply to your original comment. They sell out most away games to be fair to them.
lestajigs Posted 17 November 2013 Posted 17 November 2013 Again I refer to my reply to your original comment. They sell out most away games to be fair to them. Maybe they do mate, it's just people live of them selling out maybe once or twice in league 1, I am supprised how the season after they won the tittle there was a few times were they didn't fill there ground at home
Craig Posted 17 November 2013 Posted 17 November 2013 Big club or not, they're a Champions League outfit who have some big players. It's also a quarter final of a major cup (unless you've failed to win it recently and aren't currently in it, in which case it's defined as 'Mickey Mouse'). I can see the attraction.
jammie82uk Posted 17 November 2013 Posted 17 November 2013 what will be the deal with the online system tonight does anyone know? Will tickets be available at midnight or 9am tomoz or...? I seem to remember going on 1am ish before and not being able to but I'm getting to that age where I can't remember when or why that was now... Yeah it's the official page also it might be saying 1 per person as only singles remain in the sections that haven't already sold out but that may change tomorrow

Kitchandro Posted 18 November 2013 Posted 18 November 2013 It's 8.41 and I can't seem to find the option to get them online?!
Kitchandro Posted 18 November 2013 Posted 18 November 2013 It's a bit of a joke you have to wait til 9 if that's the case. They are supposed to be on general sale today, ST holders have had long enough. I have to get to work so getting one after 9 is difficult.
fatmando Posted 18 November 2013 Posted 18 November 2013 website crashing, phones just cut you off....fooking joke!!!!
howlinmadmurfdoc Posted 18 November 2013 Posted 18 November 2013 I've been waiting for the checkout to load for seven minutes!!

Lukey Boi Posted 18 November 2013 Posted 18 November 2013 I've been on checkout for about 20 minutes, AND trying to select tickets initially took ages and kept freezing so kept losing my 5 min limit...
Happy Fox Posted 18 November 2013 Posted 18 November 2013 http://www.lcfc.com/news/article/181113-man-city-tickets-on-general-sale-1156769.aspx Supporters queued outside the City Fanstore on Monday morning ahead of general sale commencing at 9am, as members of the Blue Army look to guarantee their place at the last-eight tie on Tuesday 17 December (kick-off 7.45pm). It is anticipated that the game will be declared a sell-out well in advance and supporters are advised to purchase their tickets as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. Tickets are now available to purchase at a maximum of four-per-person and are available from www.lcfcdirect.com, the City Sales Centre on 0844 815 5000 and from the City Fanstore at King Power Stadium. Phone lines are expected to be extremely busy on Monday and online purchases are recommended where possible.
