Man City Tickets

Take that as read mate, he always has been they ONLY person who knows what the feck they are doing at that club.

What I would genuinely like to know and this isn't meant to **** people off.

But how many of the people on here bitching and moaning about the ticket situation, were at Wycombe, Burton or Fulham, or all 3?

For the record I only went Wycombe so far this cup run. Just wondered. As it seems that season ticket holders are getting a right slagging on here, as if we all brought 6 tickets and sold them to the highest bidder.

Don't think anyone had slagged off season ticket holders.Just the club getting it totally wrong with the amount of ticket issued to season ticket holders.(By the clubs own admission re telephone call that was returned to me from club)Says the club will learn from this which is a good thing. Also your point about attending the games you state..Wycombe,Carlisle and Fulham i would hardly doubt that the majority of season ticket holders attended all 3 games??? Fact is there are season ticket holders and other fans who choose to buy tickets for each game, while i don't think anyone would doubt that season ticket holders should get certain privileges 6 tickets is to much when the other fans then have to miss out.In the clubs own words ALL fans are important.

As for the clubs online ordering and phone system...well i can understand it crashes when busy and will have problems but measures should have been in place ready.Just my opinions.

The vast majority of those extra tickets afforded to season ticket holders are going to be going to people who would have bought them on general sale anyway? My Grandad bought an extra three for my dad, my brother and his mrs, but they would have all gotten tickets on general sale anyway.

More or less everyone knows a season ticket holder - I personally know about 15 of them, all of which would have been willing to let me take a couple of their spares off their hands.

As I stated, i'm not looking to start a war, I understand different people have varying situations, as above, I have brought tickets for former season ticket holders who now just can't justify the expense of travel etc every week.

I would question the point as to why the club did what they did, the fact the phones and website are so shocking, mind you we always have had problems with customer service even before we moved grounds.

But why has it gone into meltdown over one game? Because of peoples perception of Man City don't tell me people would care had we been playing tranmere in a quater final.

We want to be playing teams like that every week.

Are people all of a sudden going to be able to afford season tickets because it's the top flight, nope. Are you going to pick and choose some games, good luck with that.

Because the exact people who we seem to think are being handed tickets by mates, or sold to them at over inflated prices, will be the ones filling the stadium, by buying season tickets to use as hospitality or on the odd occasion, just because they can.

Apparently less than 200 tickets left all single seats.

Yep, I tried to get 2 tickets together at lunchtime but there were only singles left.

It's gone into meltdown purely because it's ONE game out of the season - it's going to be our biggest game of the season, so of course all the fairweather fans are going to come out of the woodwork. And obviously, if we go up, there will be massive demand when teams like Man City, Man United, Chelsea, Arsenal etc come to town, but don't tell me it'd be the same if we were playing Hull, Cardiff, Palace, Fulham or any other of the dross teams towards the bottom of the league. Outside of the top 6, there aren't particularly many teams I'd be the bothered about seeing us play, aside from maybe Villa - and I'm sure the same goes for a lot of the gloryhunters trying to get tickets for this match.

Also, we won't see ticket offers for ST holders like what we're seeing for this game. Also, to all the fans that are moaning - why not just get a membership at the start of the season? It more or less guarentees tickets to games like this, and it's less than the cost of a match ticket.

Who moaning? Just stating the facts. As quoted from Jim at LCFC lessons will be learnt.Season ticket holders should not have been given the option of 6 tickets.4 would have been quite enough. Gloryhunters? Ive attended the last 4 home games and in the cup with my son.Work hours dictate.Does this make me a glory supporter?????

Having a season ticket would not have guarenteed you a ticket for this.

If the first 4.5k had took 6 tickets half the season tickets would not have got a chance.

But hey what do you expect with muppets running the club lol lol lol

Yeah on here you are a glory supporter/plastic if you've ever missed a game, and if you don't stand up and sing you might aswell not be at the game.

i don't get what all the moaning and whining is about with the 6 tickets allowance

season ticket holders get a 10 ticket allowance for home league games

there was no restrictions in place for the derby and fulham games so can only assume that there was a 10 ticket allowance as well

It might help if the club sold memberships before the season not 3 weeks after it starts!!

Why do your friends want to go it's only man city after all lol lol lol

As for why, try reading what I have posted, mine have gone to people who have followed the city up and down the country for nearly 40 years and happen to live in Essex and can't justify the travel week in week out, they had to give up their season tickets as there kids play to a decent standard down in essex and also are now living away at uni, but maybe you think they should put season tickets before bills and their kids education.

I don't think what you've done with your allocation is the issue, there will be people that have bought them to sell on at a profit, or bought them for mates that are man city fans, I've even seen people on here that aren't city fans tweet that they have tickets for it.

Given up, finally thought I'd gotten them at 2.50pm. Gave out all the details (that it forgot), all but done. Then it said "Transaction cancelled", the website crashed and forgot my seats that had taken nearly 6 hours to get.

My Dad is going up at 4.30, but I'm not holding my breath.
