We seem to catch onto the latest fad (poznan, wly) and it gets shitter and shitter for 6 months. That is what tinpot shithole clubs like Reading and Watford do.

You dont see Palace, Leeds, Forest, Derby and Wednesday coming to our place and singing the same songs as each other do you?

Thats the point. We've got the Melbourne chant. We have WYS and L.C.F.C and thats it, but the latter two rarely get an airing.

Its a shame Allez Les Bleus didnt catch on a couple of games ago as the thickos in L1 couldn't understand a couple of slow paced French words.

To be honest our best trait is on opposition goal kicks. Calling the GK shit is old fashioned yet brilliantly cutting, traditional and simple.

I hope the Allez Les Bleus does catch on. I'm in L1 and certainly wouldn't class myself as thick.

So us old uns moan but don't sing. Wrong some of us do and we try to air some of the old classics.

We only sing copied songs, well the Fosse Boys tried to get some unique and new songs going and were slated for it as we were elitist.

Any thing new that doesn't fit approval is cringe.

Oh yes everything everyone does is cringe.

 

Lets get real the only problem is the moaning silent fookers on here. Personally I just sing what I please now and if I'm on my own and you think I'm a cringe old twat then lovely. I will carry on enjoying myself at matches and hope people join in.

I wouldn't give him Palace - not that I think it's particularly important. Is there any difference between 'ripping off' European clubs' chants to then copying a chant from another UK club? Not sure there is.

Personally I am happy to sing any song that is in support of LCFC, or anti-Forest/Derby etc. I draw the line at 'who are ya?/Eaaasy' or any of that shite. That's the real embarrassment.

Personally I think there is a big difference between bringing in a chant from on the continent and just using ones that been ripped off from other clubs in the UK. Atleast it it is new and fresh to this country. Everyone classes we love you as palaces song, despite the fact they nicked it from st Pauli, because they were the first to really take it on properly over here.
