Dan Posted 4 January 2014 Posted 4 January 2014 The first half when we'd gone behind turned crap (as usual) but the second half was fantastic at times, especially when we went two down I'd be far more content with LCFC if we were like that every week.
Langley Posted 4 January 2014 Posted 4 January 2014 At Millwall last week I didn't hear WYS once which is something that I think is a massive shame as it's OUR song. It doesn't get sung nearly enough. We do need to get some new ones out there. It just seems to be the same 10/11 ones over and over again. It does get pretty embarrassing when the same ones come up again and again during the same game.
The Doctor Posted 4 January 2014 Posted 4 January 2014 The fvcking pub stopped serving as soon as I got there! Bastards! Well, pubs don't tend to like pissed up prats in there
Larry_LCFC Posted 4 January 2014 Posted 4 January 2014 Well, pubs don't tend to like pissed up prats in there That harvester didn't want to let any fvcker in. They had bouncers only letting 10 people in every 5 minutes. Was queuing for nearly 25 mins to get in.
Banks Posted 4 January 2014 Posted 4 January 2014 Heard 2 idiots shouting this as we were walking out of the ground. Absouletly terrible song and Leeds only sing it as Paddy Kenny was actually done for cocaine. Couldn't agree more. Embarrassing.
Jakemoore Posted 4 January 2014 Posted 4 January 2014 Let's have your videos! Someone must have recorded something from today!
Guest Bilo Posted 4 January 2014 Posted 4 January 2014 Would it help if I sanitised the Vardy chant by requesting that guests bring Doritos and Bacardi? Jesus wept, can people not have a bit of fun on a football terrace without the words of chants being digested and analysed for potentially offensive content? As long as it's not racist or really pushing the boundaries of taste, I'm talking songs about Clough, Hillsborough and Munich there, what difference does it actually make?
CheshireFox Posted 4 January 2014 Posted 4 January 2014 It's not unique at all, most clubs do it! do they? fair enough, never heard it myself. maybe theyre just quieter than us then
Langley Posted 4 January 2014 Posted 4 January 2014 I know I'll get slated for this but should there be a place on here where there is a list of all the chants and things that we know, or a lot of people know. Not just the old ones but the modern ones too. It amazes me how many people at the ground don't know the old Filbert Street ones
Union FS Posted 4 January 2014 Posted 4 January 2014 I know I'll get slated for this but should there be a place on here where there is a list of all the chants and things that we know, or a lot of people know. Larry_LCFC Posted 4 January 2014 Posted 4 January 2014 Not only is the Vardy chant at the end shit, they are singing it to the wrong tune and singing it way too fast. Some of our fans really do leave something to be desired. Also, I want to see the coppers face. Fit from behind, but she might have a dog rough face.

It amazes me how many people at the ground don't know the old Filbert Street ones I agree, I have been thinking this for a few weeks now as some people were asking for the words of some of the classics.

Just do her from behind and you'll never know, part of the excitement.
Basingstoke Fox Posted 4 January 2014 Posted 4 January 2014 The Vardy song was just a laugh to be honest. It carried over from when we were in the pub, where loads of people were doing it and it was a great laugh. The proper songs were all being sung in the concourse before the game. As for the copper, honestly didn't get a good look at her face so can't comment.
C-man Posted 5 January 2014 Posted 5 January 2014 Not only is the Vardy chant at the end shit, they are singing it to the wrong tune and singing it way too fast. Some of our fans really do leave something to be desired. Sorry was it supposed to be sung to Sloop John B?
Basingstoke Fox Posted 5 January 2014 Posted 5 January 2014 The bit that makes me laugh in the copper video is when they sing "He's got all the chat, he's got all the chat, mrrffghfskld, he's got all the chat." Just had no idea what to put in for that other line.
SystonFox Posted 5 January 2014 Posted 5 January 2014 Just do her from behind and you'll never know, part of the excitement. It's not up to TBJS standards but I like it
little Brian Posted 5 January 2014 Posted 5 January 2014 missed Molly Malone tbf ....has that song become history now ?
Langley Posted 5 January 2014 Posted 5 January 2014 http://filbospirit.wordpress.com/union-fs/chant-list/ Cracking list there. Missing a fair few but I know it's new. Sounds like a good project.
Larry_LCFC Posted 5 January 2014 Posted 5 January 2014 Sorry was it supposed to be sung to Sloop John B? If im honest I would prefer it wasn't sung in the first place seeing as it has no relevance to Jamie Vardy whatsoever and makes us look abit stupid, but hey ho.
LCFC FOX Posted 5 January 2014 Posted 5 January 2014 What bus was you on? At least sing it to the right tune
Unabomber Posted 5 January 2014 Posted 5 January 2014 It's not up to TBJS standards but I like it Gotta keep it legal nowadays.
Larry_LCFC Posted 5 January 2014 Posted 5 January 2014 I must say I find it baffling reading the Stoke forum (http://oatcakefanzine.proboards.com/thread/224669/leicester-fans?page=3). They all reckon that Leicester fans made "zero noise" apart from two minutes after our goal. Do they all sit there with their fingers in their ears? The second half was buzzing. Maybe they are trying to divert the attention from the fact they were silent for the whole match.
GingerrrFox Posted 5 January 2014 Posted 5 January 2014 To be fair Vardy is one of the keener members of the squad for a big night out. Clearly not ahead of Sean St Ledger, but close. A song about a party sounds pretty accurate.
