Players are thick as pig shit.

They will have been star struck by QPR and wrote all their players names down or in some cases wont even remember.

Wouldnt surprise me if they filled them out un 2-3 minutes anyway, I imagine the attention span of a modern footballer is like that of a goldfish.

Are you always this stereotypical? I think we had this conversation when you referred to the mentally ill as 'loonies' (or similar). Now players being 'as thick as pig shit'..

Have you met many 'modern footballers', if so, whom? And were they 'as thick as pig shit'?

One of my family members is a pro footballer. He aint thick. I've met Andy King, Michael Morrison and Richard Stearman. They weren't thick.

Where do you get this from?

If it looks like a duck, walks a duck and quacks, I'm inclined to think it's a duck.

Met quite a few, though when it comes to sport I'm mainly in the company of cricketers or boxers due to the work I do and the people I generally socialise with, they are generally far more interesting than footballers who in the main I find boring, I've walked away and deliberately avoided a lot fo them.

And one of those players you mentioned went school with someone very close to me, he thought Japan was the capital of China.

I really don't think any of our players are in with a shout, or even particularly deserve to be in with a shout.

The likes of Drinkwater, Dyer and Vardy have all had excellent seasons, but I don't think that individually they have been quite good enough to be the best player in the whole division.

Also worth bearing in mind that the awards are normally voted for around about now by the players, so Vardy might get some love.

So, a complete stereotype.. one out of four.

Drinkwater I reckon bones most women so is the best player for me

Danny bones a girl on Monday, bones another girl on Tuesday, bones another girl on Wednesday, and on Thursday and Friday and Saturday he wipes his arse on Sunday

If McCormack is in team of the year ahead of Vardy it will be a joke. Vardy may not score as many but he contributes more to a 'team' than ANY other player in this division. PFA team of the year will be the interesting one, players vote so should be a fair reflection.

I'm sorry, but when you're comfortably leading the league's scoring charts from a bang average Leeds team, you've got to be doing something right.

Anecdotal evidence is no evidence, nor is that sample size remotely accurate. By the same dint I went to school with joe mattock and he was a chavvy moron - is that evidence of all footballers being chavvy morons?
