Pokemon Nuzlockes

I've just been playing through a few of these recently and my word are they challenging, but enjoyable. For anyone wondering a nuzlocke is basically a challenge in which you can only catch the first pokemon you encounter in each area and if your pokemon faints then you must just release it.

I'm yet to complete one yet but they are rather addicting and shamefully I seem to build quite a bond to each pokemon and it becomes emotionally stressful when one dies.

This link has all the rules of a Nuzlocke for anyone interested: http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Nuzlocke_Challenge

I wouldn't have a single prayer. I'd end up raising one for ages (which is tedious) then getting dicked on in the Elite Four, thus ruining everything.

I keep meaning to do one. I'm sadistic when it comes to games like this. I've tried (and failed) a lot of Dark Souls single-life playthroughs.

Going off the topic a bit but I heard you can download a pokemon game into your mobile phone? Is it true?

My team managed to wipe trying to catch a Castform, I don't even know how to react to that......

That should answer your question  :)

For the first two generations on an Android phone, I'd recommend this:

Works fantastically for me :)

Cheers. I'm torn between doing Pokemon hacks or traditional Pokemon games. I doubt I have time to play on both!

Why not?

It's still a game. Quite a fun one, at that. It's a lot better than silly angry/flappy bird games.
