Babylon Posted 8 April 2014 Posted 8 April 2014 The cheerio chant was epic lol Ha ha they all looked pretty sheepish to say the least scuttling out!
Babylon Posted 8 April 2014 Posted 8 April 2014 There were people leaving in the Kop after the 3rd went in with 30 mins to go. Awful support.I felt like leaving after about 10 minutes, but thought i would make a special effort considering we'd just got bloody promoted!!!
fantastic_mr_fox Posted 8 April 2014 Posted 8 April 2014 Jog on you muppet. Think you would get slightly irritated having to stand 15 times a half to let people in and out just because they cba to turn up on time and then sit still for 45 minutes. Abit of consideration costs nothing. Yeah OK I will jog just for you - I mean who knows why these people behaved so irresponsibly? Maybe they were stuck in traffic so were late, maybe they had medical issues, maybe they were just hungry or needed a drink but how dare they? How very much dare they?! and to YOU of all people?! Seriously - it must have been awful for you. I think you should write a BIG letter of complaint to the club about how awful it was for you having to stand up occassionally - it really is a disgrace. If you want me to add my name to a petition I am happy to include my signature - we can call it "Larry's awful time at the football match because of other people who don't go as much as Larry" Lets do this!!! x

No doubt you were one of them. Go back to supporting United. Much love x
fantastic_mr_fox Posted 8 April 2014 Posted 8 April 2014 you are a fool. No doubt you were one of them. Go back to supporting United. Much love x Nope - I used to stand in the Spinion Kop Larry - all those years ago (were you alive then?) - everybody standing squeezed together in the kop, surging, jumping up and down, getting coins chucked at us by the away fans in pen 1 and the east stand! can you imagine how awful and inconvenient that was?! you should have seen the STATE of the gents toilets. Thank goodness now for fans like you that we can all sit down and complain about other people's behavior - tally ho!!
ImBlue Posted 8 April 2014 Posted 8 April 2014 I'm glad it picked up in the last 10 minutes when some were leaving. The players didn't deserve the walk out after this season. Those that had no reason to leave, hang your head.

What are your thoughts on the same group of people sitting there for 75 minutes berating the players for every move made on the pitch? Or should I just accept that aswell. Wouldn't want to cause a fuss or anything.
Grandad. Posted 8 April 2014 Posted 8 April 2014 Didn't really want to start a new thread for this post.. I went to my second Leicester game of the season tonight, Fulham in the League Cup being my only other game. People will know me on the forum previously as Uncle Albert, been a Liverpool fan all my life. I used to follow City all over the country when I was 16-18 because it wasn't possible for me to go to Liverpool games. Now I am older and have money and what not, I go to as many Liverpool games as I can. My little love affair with Leicester was over. So tonight I was one of the ones on the 'bandwagon', not bothered about being associated with the extra 8,000 people there. Missed the first 5 minutes because I was collecting my tickets, feel for the people who were still queuing round near the megastore when I was walking to J2, they must have missed a fair bit of the first half. Got to my seat and from the off the atmosphere in the ground seemed weird, well the people around me were. To my right L1 and K were singing away and so were parts of the Kop to my left. Around me I had people moaning at every misplaced pass and if I had a £1 for everytime I heard someone say "he's still pissed from the weekend him" I would have a few hundred quid in my pocket right now. Yeah Brighton were the better team, deserved to win but what I seen when they went 4-0 up was nothing short of brilliant. The amount of idiots who got up around me and the ground walking down the steps out of the ground to be greeted to boos and chants was brilliant to see, the lads and women who have been there all season all coming together and clearing the dross out. Like I say, I haven't been at all this season and at no point did I think to walk out when Brighton scored, I was there to celebrate a fantastic season. The final 10 minutes were fantastic, best atmosphere I have experienced at the KP in a very long time. The fans who stood, sung and jumped were a credit to the club this evening. "4-1 down, who gives a ****?" Respect.
TrentFox Posted 9 April 2014 Posted 9 April 2014 I've never seen such a whiney bunch in all my life ! Seriously, it takes a lot to make me angry but I'm genuinely irritated by this thread. the air of entitlement in some messages is truly quite something. Just reading the news headlines about missing jets and grieving families and all the usual detritus that makes up the headlines ... and in other news, some LCFC attendees didn't sing or sit the way some other people thought they should!!! FFS !! I would rather have our ground sold out 1ith 32.3k people each week, even if they sit there and play dominoes, than half full of people who will still not create any more of an atmosphere. Why don't the people who want to create an atmosphere just do that rather than blaming Barclay / plastics/stadium design/Sky/players' performances/their teachers when they were 5/their parents/the weather etc etc? Why don't they just get on with singing their feckin' heads off and making it so amazing that others don't want to play dominoes or text or tweet ? Why don't they just make it so special that nobody wants to leave early? Why don't they just worry about themselves and their own day out rather than trying to be Captain of the World and telling everyone else how to enjoy themselves? If you want to change somebody else's behaviour, show them - don't tell them! I'll now go and do the gardening whilst 45,000 people tell me they never stop singing or being positive all match. (Total apologies to those that do and that are, rightly, offended by this rant).

Those that had no reason to leave, hang your head. 'hang your head' i think that is a bit extreme, if people leave it is not necessarily a dig at the players, probably more the fact we were losing by 3 goals and wanted to avoid the rush at the end. What i can't be doing with thought is if we are winning or there is one goal in it and people leave, that's just silly

Same applies with me and singing, I'll sing when I want and I'm hoping for an improved atmosphere in SK1 with UFS BUT if some uber fan tells me to start singing .......... Most younger fans believe they're the best fans ever, plenty of people I went with 37 years ago went to every game and knew they'd always go. Well of the 50 that used to go there's now about 15 that still attend regularly.
