Jimothy Posted 6 April 2014 Posted 6 April 2014 I love it how now that we are promoted everyone thinks we have a divine right to judge all other teams. I've been judging QPR all season!
Fox92 Posted 6 April 2014 Posted 6 April 2014 These did alright with other clubs didn't they? I seem to remember them winning Premiership titles. Maybe you're underperforming because your manager has just tried to buy his way out of trouble instead of building a team. They were Hughes signings. He signed a hell of a lot of overpaid/overrated players on big contracts. Not saying Harry hasn't done the same, but some of those players obviously didn't care about the club.. Remy, Park, Tarrabt, Bosingwa, Cesar etc

Super hoop Posted 6 April 2014 Posted 6 April 2014 Hi Corky, In our pre season predictor I had us 4th to 6th. There was a lot of concern we would do a Wolves and get another relegation. Harry's biggest mistake was the reason for the lack of goals. We started with only 3 out and out strikers, not bad except 2 were injury prone and both, Andy Johnson and Bobby Zamora, got injured straight away leaving us with just Austin.
THEBIGJOHNSTEADER; Posted 6 April 2014 Posted 6 April 2014 Yes he should be doing better and he has certainly lost the plot and most of the fans in the last few weeks but we are still third somehow Is Shawn Wright Shitlips still at Queer Poo Raiders?
Guest Col city fan Posted 6 April 2014 Posted 6 April 2014 Qpr fan joins the board to say congratulations. Our response is to educate him on why his team aren't top. Was just thinking exactly the same thing. The poor lad was only saying well done! I'm not surprised..

Not saying Harry hasn't done the same, but some of those players obviously didn't care about the club.. Remy, Park, Tarrabt, Bosingwa, Cesar etc Redknapp signed Remy and he scored 6 in 14 for an awful side, Taarabt was a Warnock signing and he was massive in their promotion season so it's harsh to lump those in with players who don't care. Hughes made some huge errors with signings but Redknapp has been given licence to bring in his own players (Kranjcar, Benayoun, Assou-Ekotto, Austin, Phillips, Simpson, Dunne, Hughes). I think we can judge Redknapp on this season (similar with Pearson and 2012/13) and for an attacking manager his goal return has been appalling and the quality of player means they should be doing better than Burnley if the manager can get the best out of them.

That's fair enough, if those were your expectations then it's a good season so far Are you worried if you don't go up about the future?
Super hoop Posted 6 April 2014 Posted 6 April 2014 All the dross I mentioned earlier were Hughes signings. Harry paid money for Remy and Samba last season. We got our money back on Samba and look like doubling the 8 million we got last season. Last summer he paid money for Austin and Phillips, among our best players this season. The other one we paid cash for Henry hasn't really got a game because of Bartons form. All his other signing have been free or loans
MrHornet Posted 6 April 2014 Posted 6 April 2014 Hey guys, Watford fan in peace here:) just wanted to say congratulations to all at Leicester on promotion, easily the best team in this division and well deserved! seeing how this season has panned out is incredible, the recovery from 'that moment' last year from you lot has been great, the less said about our season the better.... Have the utmost respect for Pearson, mainly for his words about us last year, but also for the way he acted and the way he has got you to the Premier League. Again, congratulations and all the best for next season:)
Super hoop Posted 6 April 2014 Posted 6 April 2014 Yes SWP is still here. Looking forward to a transfer ban. I'm fed up with a new team being signed each season but with 20 players out of contract in the summer only about 4 of which will be retained and all the loans going back it won't happen.
Super hoop Posted 6 April 2014 Posted 6 April 2014 Leagues are not won on paper because of the names you have in the side, you know all about that after Svens reign. When we went up with Warnock we had a team like yours, mainly players who hadn't played in thePrem, desperate to get there and prove themselves. Now we have plenty of 'prem quality' players who think they are doing us a favour. Anyway back to the original point, well done on doing your promotion the right way
1966fox Posted 6 April 2014 Posted 6 April 2014 Hi QPR supporter here. I agree with Joey, well done on your promotion you deserve it, the best team in the league. I thank you,

I thought it was crazy (and I dislike Warnock) in hindsight would you have rather he stayed and you tried to make a fist of it with the players that got you there, or was he not good enough and had to go, and did the right thing to splash the cash, the only mistake was replacing entrusting Hughes to do so?Also why is a tweet from Joey Barton worth reporting on? Just because he is an opinionated tw@ doesn't actually mean his opinion is worth anything, fvck's sake.
muzzycomeback Posted 6 April 2014 Posted 6 April 2014 To be fair, Redknapp hasn't done too bad considering the shit side he took over[/quoHA!
Super hoop Posted 6 April 2014 Posted 6 April 2014 Muzzy, Won six games all season got 25 points, rock bottom. Fancy a season like that next year?
