Signed competent premier league players like Danny Simpson plus youngsters on loan like Tom Carroll. Add to that big money spent on Charlie Austin. Then when things weren't going great he's gone out and signed Assou-Ekoto, Doyle, Maiga and Morrison. I saw your line up the other week at home v Blackpool and Assou-Ekoto was on the left wing with Hoilett on the bench. 'Arry really has no excuses. He's had the players and the backing and he's blown it.

Morale was rock bottom so getting where we are now is as I said not too bad Pearson had the likes of Beckford, Danns, Wellens and Gallagher all being pains in the arse, and he's managed to sort it. Like I said playing a struggling Blackpool at home with a left back on the left wing with talented wingers on the bench is the kind of stupid choice he's been making all season. He really had no excuses, should be doing much better.

Maybe you're underperforming because your manager has just tried to buy his way out of trouble instead of building a team.
