fox123 Posted 8 April 2014 Posted 8 April 2014 I was just wondering if NP will continue to adopt his approach of sitting in the stands for next season. I'm sure he isn't naive enough to think we will win more than we draw/lose, but with his recent health scare and the pressures to come next season, will he continue to trust Shakey in the managers pit or come down from the stands?
MGLCFC Posted 8 April 2014 Posted 8 April 2014 Think he sits in the stand as he gets a different perspective of the game - think this will continue.
Fox92 Posted 8 April 2014 Posted 8 April 2014 Think he sits in the stand as he gets a different perspective of the game - think this will continue. I agree. I think he's learning from it, also.
Haydos Posted 8 April 2014 Posted 8 April 2014 Different game, I think he'll still do it but he'll spend more time on the touchline. We obviously won't be as comfortable next year so he'll need to be giving more instructions.
C-man Posted 8 April 2014 Posted 8 April 2014 Makes me laugh that Spurs fans were actually vilifying Sherwood so much about sitting in the stands at Anfield that he was back on the touchline last night. Mind you, you can't argue with the results
Babylon Posted 8 April 2014 Posted 8 April 2014 Makes me laugh that Spurs fans were actually vilifying Sherwood so much about sitting in the stands at Anfield that he was back on the touchline last night. Mind you, you can't argue with the results People were vilifying Pearson also after a couple of losses. As Pearson pointed out there is a mentality in the English game that the manager need to be on the touchline jumping about, when it might not be the best option.
Guest Sharpe's Fox Posted 8 April 2014 Posted 8 April 2014 With the main aim of the season achieved you would think that this is the best time to evaluate players from a lofty position.
