HEGGSY Posted 8 April 2014 Posted 8 April 2014 Can someone just tell me the players were still smashed from a weekend on the beer? Please even if you're lying. Yes, this doesn't warrant a new thread, but the most disappointing thing for me, was losing the unbeaten streak in such a fashion Oh and the plastics
DennisNedry Posted 8 April 2014 Posted 8 April 2014 I'm sure that Nigel had them prepared properly. The performance was down to the players thinking the job was done and all we had to do was turn up to win. The Tuesday night jitters as always played a part, thank god in the Premier League their are hardly any weekday games! I hate Tuesday games
Lionator Posted 8 April 2014 Posted 8 April 2014 Knockaert was seriously struggling in the first few minutes. It just shows that at elite level in sport, you cannot be anything less than 100% on it or else you'll get exposed.
Hungry Hungry Fox Posted 8 April 2014 Posted 8 April 2014 Maybe not the best comparison, but once bayern Munich secured the title in Germany(and being unbeaten all season) they then lose their next game I think it's psychological
Stadt Posted 9 April 2014 Posted 9 April 2014 Maybe not the best comparison, but once bayern Munich secured the title in Germany(and being unbeaten all season) they then lose their next game I think it's psychological They drew their next game, then they lost and they also made wholesale changes so it goes to show that consistency is key.
