An Away Move

In defence of 'Plastic fans'

I wasn't aiming that at you, more at the context of the thread as it states "plastic fans".

No worries didn't think you were, just once again stating my personal dislike of the "plastic" label

So having paid the money, paying the players, you then have to sit through a terrible performance just to clap the players? I don't think so.

I left early yesterday. I'm a STH, and have been for 11 years. I've sat through defeats at places like Bramall Lane, I've travelled to Cheltenham and Stockport, I've seen us get beat at home by teams like Sheffield Wednesday and I was at Stoke in May 2008... But somebody comes only because we're top and decides to clap the players after the game, he's more of a fan than me/he's a real fan and I'm not?

As I said, if you don't think the seasons achievements so far warrants a bit of support after a match, all be it a poor one, where numerous club records have been broken then that's your decision. Don't see a lot of support there though

I'll be waiting for the Doncaster game to do all that. As always, because it's the last game of the season.

Anyone who left early yesterday, despite it being a poor performance isn't really a supporter in my eyes.

Absolutely ridiculous statement, some of us live 50+ miles from Leicester and prioritise getting home rather than staying to clap which we have done near enough every game this season.

The team had just gone 23 games unbeaten, got promotion with 18 points still to play for, and this was the first opportunity to congratulate them, if you couldn't be bothered to stay and applaud that achievement I really don't think you should be going down
