Really enjoyed that. My favourite game of the season!

 

Kasper 7 - Nothing to do but good when called upon.

 

Moore 7 - Not convinced he's a full back but decent enough.

Morgan 8 - Solid.

Miguel 8 - Composed; so good on the ball.

James 9 - Thought he was class today. Broke up their attacks so many times, made the first goal and unlucky not to score

Hammond 8 - Again, good today. Won the ball back numerous times. 

King 7.5

 

Taylor-Fletcher 7 - Crackin' finish via a great move.

Wood 7 

Dyer 7.5 - Very impressive today. Unlucky not to score at least twice.

I think Liam's going to be a great centre back but god help us if he has to cover at right back next season

Moore 6 - did ok

Morgan 8 - Solid. Looked back to his best

Miguel 7 - Not really tested but looked comfortable.

Konchesky 8 - always involved. Great team performance.

James 9 - Ran the show. Man United must be wondering why they allowed him to leave.

Hammond 8 - Excellent. Never allowed huddersfield into the game..

King 7 Good link up play, but needs to learn how to impose himself in a game.

Taylor-Fletcher 8 Our best player first half and great finish for the goal.

Wood 5. Needs to work on his hold up play. Had little impact.

Dyer 8- Very impressive. Today's performance just shows how much extra he brings to the team than just pace.

Hammond was absolutely fantastic today, as were James, GTF and Wes. Thought Iggy did well considering his lack of proper match action, too.

Kasper 6 - Had very little to do.

Moore 6 - He's not a right back. Stuck at his task well but repeatedly got skinned.

Konch 7 - Used all his experience defensively and supported well when attacking.

Morgan 8 - Scored his 3rd of the season and was a complete beast in defence.

Miquel 8 - Yet another accomplished performance. Didn't put a foot wrong and is very comfortable on the ball. Hope we sign him.

Dyer 8 - Another top performance in what has been his best season for us.

GTF 8 - He was class. Often found himself deep in our half, but won tackles, was composed on the ball and put the finishing touches to a lovely breakaway goal with a smart finish.

King 7 - Smooth operator. Tried to get forward to support Wood as much as he could. Moves the ball well.

Hammond 8 - His best performance for us. Dominated the midfield and have us the freedom to play.

James 8 - Did ever so well in the build up to the goal. Always made himself available and was generally the James of this season that we have come to see.

Wood 7 - Nothing really came off for him in front of goal. Did well holding the ball up and did a fair amount of chasing about.

Subs - None of them really made any real contribution. Ok Mahrez flicked the ball on to Morgan but I don't think he meant it or it made any difference to Morgan scoring.

Kasper 7 - Was commanding, but didn't have much to do.

 

Moore 6 - Not a right back, got caught out a lot of times.

Wes 9 - Absolute rock all day, literally nothing got by him and he scored a good goal.

Miquel 8 - So composed on the ball and reads the game very well. Worth signing I'd say.

Konchesky 7 - Got caught out a few times like Moore did but managed to get back and put a tackle in.

 

Hammond 9 - Outstanding. Wasn't convinced in previous games but today he was everywhere and didn't put a foot wrong.

James 8 - Just pure class start to finish.

King 7 - Played well, nothing too much of note.

GTF 8 - Don't think he's played badly any time he's played. He's got such a good touch and if he didn't have the body of a middle aged man he'd be world class. Great finish.

Dyer 7 - His pace troubled their full backs a lot and he teed up GTF nicely.

 

Wood 7 - Ran his socks off up front and put himself about, did a lot on his own as well but sometimes we were too slow to get around him and the balls in weren't great.

 

Mahrez 6 - Did little when he came on.

Nuge 5 - Not enough time to do anything

Kasper - 9 - Hardly anything to do but did what he did very well.

 

Moore - 6 - He is a CB

 

Morgan - 8 - Dominant

 

Miguel - 7 - Assured

 

Konchesky - 8 - His best game for a long time!

 

Hammond - 7 - Good game

 

King - 7 - Some wonderful touches

 

James - 9 - MOTM - Class above

 

GTF - 7.5 - Just love him

 

Dyer - 8 - Back to his best

 

Wood - 7 - Did well on his own

Moore 6.5 - probably a 6 first half, 7 second as Scannell ran him ragged in the first half but he improved in the second

Wes 9 - class performance at the back today. Think he thrives more when he has a young player beside him.

Miquel 7.5 - played well and impressed with how he played the ball out from the back

Konch 8 - looked good in defence and attack and it was the left where most of our creativity came from.

 

James 9 - him and King ran the show with Hammond supporting them both very well. All three contributed well defensively too.

Wood 6 - expected a touch more from him to be honest. Wasn't bad and worked hard but his touch let him down quite a bit and there was one cross he should have just thrown himself at.

Or is it because he plays on the right side of defence when Moore or Miquel play, which is his preferred side.
