jamiegoode Posted 4 May 2014 Posted 4 May 2014 Well now footys is almost done, must say as a Leicester City fan its a nice feeling to finely win something [ill admit ive never been to a game or bought a top......but one day i shall!!] Due to circumstances and a change in my life im living in Dudley now but spent 8+ years in Telford to which i followed the locally, well supported and had similar up/down, financial trouble like Leicester....well they won promotion by being champions too. ....but alas i couldnt have a 3 out of 3 as unfortunatley Birmingham survived the drop [ive never been a fan of Birmingham footy club as they had all that money, proclaming they were the best team in the midlands etc, then this whole 2nd capital of england rubbish too but thats a whole other debate. Anyway, glad Leicester and Telford won their leagues and promotion..........shame about Birmingham!!!

I think Midlands football has done really well this year... Birmingham, Villa, WBA, Notts County and Northampton all survived in their respective leagues. We won the league, as did Wolves and Chesterfield while Kettering and Derby finished in the play offs etc

Dundee, like Leicester, also won the (Scottish) Championship and Exeter survived relegation, although next year I shall also be following Hinckley AFC, so hopefully they'll get off to a good start in their first year next season.
ScouseFox Posted 4 May 2014 Posted 4 May 2014 Leicester, Liverpool and Bristol Rovers probably the results I look out for due to mates/family. We smashed it, Liverpool nearly smashed it (still might) and rovers went and got relegated.
