Playoff final and irrational jealousy

Going up through the playoffs is a once in a life time experience for most. Imagine what it would have felt like to be on the other side of that Watford game - incredible. But nobody is going to swap that for a guaranteed Prem place, that's stupid, get over it. We're Premier League, ****ers.

I'd rather go up a champions in 1st rather than 3rd, 4th, 5th or bloody 6th. Not to say I wouldn't take it if I had no choice... But if I did, I take the championship every day.

A few derby fans last night were trying to say I should be jealous of them going to Wembley and that we've done it the easy way, which is 'boring' somehow.

Told them they're wrong and their the ones who will almost definitely be jealous come next Saturday night, but what did I expect? They're derby fans.

So winning the league is the easy way Derby fans... I so want QPR to stuff them good and proper

Came to the conclusion the other day that even though qpr are a horrible club, derby have unbearable fans.

No, you wouldn't want to finish 4th in the Prem over 1st just so you get to play more games in Europe.

I belong to a few other fans' forums including DCFCFans and QPRdot.org, both of which have posters who seem like really good people. I'm watching and listening to them planning what they are going to do on 26 May and feeling vaguely jealous. I mean, I would not swap our position for their situation at all, but part of me thinks that I would love to be doing it all over again like we did in the 1990s.

 

Does anyone else feel the same kind of confusion?

What I will say is that I think our heartbreak in the playoffs last year made us better and pushed us on this year so in some part we have the horrible day to thank for this season.

 

It's hard to admit that and it's abit weird but I honestly believe that. It made us better and more determined this year.
