I stumbled upon this website on Saturday and thought I'd share it with everybody.

Basically, you create an online account on the site and then using the searchbar, you search for the website you wish to buy from. Then you buy your product as normal and you will see your cashback amount on your ilovecashback account. Your account will show you every purchase you have made through the site as well as the cash back amount. You will usually receive between 1-5% cash back but it can be higher. The return is similar to having a reward card but it's for thousands of companies, not just for one.

Many, many sites are partnered to ilovecashback. From Argos to Wilko to GAME etc etc

By getting other people to sign up and make money, you get more cash back yourself. That's partly the reason why I have posted the link at the top, if you follow it and sign up the site will recognise that I directed you there. So if you get all of your family and friends to sign up and start making money, you yourself could make a fair whack (takes time of course)

So start signing up!!

Yes Yes Yes....

There is a bit of pyramid selling there. But there doesn't have to be.

You make most of your money on your purchases, not on getting others to sign up.

Edit: As an example, I bought The Last of Us Remastered on SimplyGames on Sunday. Got £6.14 cash back through this site. No pyramid selling involved.

I mean, does that look like a pyrmaid to you? Clearly it's not a pyramid, it's a pie.

People are so quick to criticise but it makes total business sense.

1) Retailer gives ilovecashback a sum to be partnered on the site

2) a) Retailer gets more business = win for retailer

b) ilovecashback makes a lot of money = win for ilovecashback

3) ilovecashback gives you a small slice of it's profit = win for you

Everybody wins.

I'm not about to piss all over myself, I'm pissing into the bigtime.

Who do you pass the sale to? Somebody has to want to buy and at a price less tham they could have done by bypaassing you and going to where you ought it.

I was considering a home sales type of job but that involved door to door sales and buying before you sold. Pyramid selling.

It's not like that, Ken.

I don't buy anything to sell on to other people. To put it simply I'm just advertising.

'Someone has to want to buy' - yes of course. But like I said, you can get cash back from Asda if you want. It covers 1000s of retailers.

People are just so cynical and critical of everything now. I bet Voll you don't go in to Santander and claim that their 1-2-1 account with cash back is a pyramid load of bollocks.

So I have to buy The Last of Us and you get money? But I don't have a console I don't see the benefit.

Ok I am just a little wary of these things.I may take a look.

"At least I don't fancy elves and pixies!"

Ken you should get into Avon, definitely

What does that even mean? I have literally no idea what that means!

No.

Sorry, I don't think I explained myself very well.

Whatever you buy through the site, you get cash back on. It will tell you the % for each company that is partnered to the site.

That is the main way of getting money.

A secondary way (as I said above) is getting other people to sign up to the site.

Wish I hadn't have bloody bothered now lol

Listen, Dennis. You don't seem to understand. Nothing you want is ever going to happen. That's the real world. Your hair isn't red. People don't walk around on stilts. Maybe somewhere you can earn a living sitting around drinking margaritas through a curly plastic straw, but in this world you've got to turn up, log on and grind out.

Are these all quotes from Peep Show, or is my memory telling lies? I'm sure I can hear David Mitchell in my head saying the things that have been posted ;)

Might as well close the thread MODS. It's been derailed in typical FT style. I'm off to the Tinder thread :P

What has elves and pixies got to do with it?

Peep Show quote referencing the pyramid scheme episode as per most of the other replies in this topic

I'm guessing ilovecashback is just like Top Cashback - I signed up to it, earned a couple of quid then ordered something through Halford's and was owed about £8 but it never showed up and I couldn't be bothered to contact them so just stopped using it. The trouble with all these cashback and reward schemes is most people will use them to buy things they otherwise wouldn't, thinking that they are "making" £3 rather than forking out £300. I bet the percentage of people who actually make any real world savings is absolutely minute

Top Cashback also spam email like a muckerfother and I'm guessing ilovecashback are similar... Probably not worth the hassle
