Unbelievable..

Are you going to 'moderate' yourself?

Massive changes will see us go down keeping a winning mentality with players who know how each other play is the way to go then add the extras here and there.

The league is played , with the players, the relevant management deem the correct mix, there is no league won by comparing who buys who. What other teams do in the transfer market has no relevance.

If Burnley , Qpr buy 5-6 players more than us, noway guarrantees a better league position or chance of survival.

They were lucky not to get injuries come on! Theyre destined for 20th

We were lucky early in the season with the injuries I'll agree, but then at the back end we were unlucky, particularly when we played you.

"Everytime burnley came up against a better or equal team they came up short."

So how did we manage to get 93 points then? We lost 5 games all season, fewer than you, conceding the fewest goals in the league. Other than that, you make a great point.

"Theyre destined for 20th"

Is that this season's "they'll fall away eventually" quote?

Have a scan through the Championship thread from last season to find the answer to that question.

Yeah, that was last season. Which came to a closure about two months ago.

Admittedly, you had a great and steady Championship season. This thread isn't about that, though.

If it turns out the signings so far are going to help Burnley, then it'll probably end up as the club's shrewdest signings ever.

As of right now, none of these signings have particularly stood out in recent times and are slightly overpriced.

Big-spending Burnley. They'll fall away eventually.

The price quoted on here aren't the prices being quoted elsewhere. As for the quality, I'm underwhelmed, but Behring a Burnley supporter, it's a feeling I'm used to.

With the signings themselves Luka seems like a Vokes style player which we have needed since his injury, Sordell is a product of Dyche's time with the Watford youth team, he developed him into a 3.5m, England's u21 player so obviously sees something in him. The other are good solid squad players.

How much did Cardiff spend to achieve their relegation last season? I see the way both our clubs going about their business is the right way. Why upset the the good, solid progress made last season?

Don't worry pal, a lot of our fans on here are so arrogant about our unproven squad and yet write off Burnley's chances because they've only signed some unproven players and a few older PL wise heads, which is exactly what we've done so far.

We were slightly better than you last season but that counts for fcuk all in the PL. It appears both teams are trying to keep together the same nucleus to maintain the unity and team spirit, will it be enough? I'm certainly nervous about our chances. I want to see 1-2 players who can make the difference to our young squad, like Hull did with Huddlestone and Davies last year.
