lol lol

Sordell and the Jucz?

Their signings aren't even ahead of the business we did the summer we signed Akinbiyi and Benjamin.

Sordell might be good though.

A real athlete, he's power and pace, all the attributes to be a top player in any position.

Unfortunately, he's playing football, not entering a heptathlon, so kind of needs some skill with a ball at his feet.

If it's a choice of signing nobody or Sordell and jutkiewicz (£2.25m!!!!!), I think I'd choose nobody.

haha definitely, these 2 weren't even great in the championship, so no idea why Dyche thinks they'll cut it in the prem

Life is not like a game of football manager* where you can go and sign 10 players in the week after a season has ended.....

* my record is 17 new signings in one close season

Out of all the teams to be concerned about in the Premiership Burnley and Deeney are not 1 of them

Hamer and Gilks are about equal.

Upson>Reid and Baird

Albrighton?Kightly and Taylor

And is anybody really worried by the signings of Juketwicz and Sordell? Imagine the outcry on here if we signed one of them, nevermind both

It would not surprise me if Dyce gets them playing well.... both players have lost there way yet are more than handful when on song.

Typical FT to be putting down the signings, or potential signings of other clubs.

For me, Troy Deeney at 6.5 million would be great business. He's big and strong, not slow, can score from anywhere and shields the ball well for others to get forward.

IF (as many are arguing) the latter half of the Prem isn't 'all that' (I don't agree), then Deeney should score plenty of goals. I expect him to make the step up and should he go to Burnley, to be their top scorer next season.

A strike pairing of Deeney and Ings? Yep, I'd take that.

They haven't signed Deeney, so your whole point is rendered useless in a thread about "are Burnley ahead of us".

'Potential' signings of other clubs?

Who give a **** what burnley are doing?

There is scope to consider the transfer activities of a club who could be in a relegation dogfight with us next season. That is possible. To avoid looking at the clubs who could well be around us next season would be remiss. Hence the thread I suspect?

Do you think that rival companies, in the business world, don't look at what their competitors are doing in order to gain advantage?

Theres no harm in looking at what the projected bottom half of the table are doing.

Dyche likes Sordell - did well under him but agree he has hardly proven at Premier league level.

I think they'll miss Voakes for a while?

Think we might be looking for a bit more regarding Deeney baring in mind how much McCormack went for.

All we need care about is what our management team is up to. Our squad was and still is the better than there's, we would have to lose kasper, nuge, vardy, drinky, james, vas, moore, morgan, de laet, before we need worry about making better signings than some 2 bit overacheivers.

They were lucky not to get injuries come on! Everytime burnley came up against a better or equal team they came up short. Theyre destined for 20th

You come on here bleating about others rubbishing their signings and act like Deeney has signed. Name of the thread is

"Are Burnley ahead of us in signings so far ?" He hasn't signed, those they have weren't even wanted by their old clubs, is it any wonder they are being rubbished.
