Rincewind Posted 29 August 2005 Posted 29 August 2005 I've found Flame the best, although it is not strictly Chinese but Oriental doing japanese as well. I went in Terra Cota recently didn't think their choice of menu was so good as Flame. No pancake and no sushi. Flame also have dumplings which are nice. Day of tomorrow so it must be time for another visit.
LoneWolf Posted 30 August 2005 Posted 30 August 2005 the one on top of astill lodge road.... i love their
Guest Posted 31 August 2005 Posted 31 August 2005 I think I'm one of the few people who rarely gets their money's worth at all you can eat buffets, believe it or not.
Rincewind Posted 31 August 2005 Posted 31 August 2005 At some places they charge extra for the food you dont eat if you take too much. The proper way to do it is take a little at a time and go back if you want it. I didnt have much yesterday. Soup pancake with pork and trimmings Sushi Sausage, battered chicken them triangle things Beef in blackbeen sauce, garlic mushrooms, noodles, some dumpling things gatauex Wasnt very hungry. Oh and a pint of Wothington. £8 with tip.
The People's Hero Posted 31 August 2005 Posted 31 August 2005 There was a cracking place in Leicester I used to go now and then, £5 all you can eat on a weekend. Really can't remember where it was though. Student life seems a dim and distant memory.
Darth Fox Posted 31 August 2005 Posted 31 August 2005 Bamboo Garden in Hinckley is superb if anyone is ever over this neck of the woods.

Rincewind Posted 31 August 2005 Posted 31 August 2005 There is one on Belgrave Gate which I used to go to. Think it was one of the first buffet type Chinese. Now they are all over the place. Breeding like err Chinese. Only joking there, any Chinese on here please dont take offence.
