Contradictions.

Pearson can't win (literally at the minute).

Just about everybody has said he should do this or do that at some point this season and Pearson has done this and done that.

There's been calls to keep a settled side, he does and he shows too much loyalty to the players that got us here.

He changes the system or the players and he's being too reactionary and trying to stop the opposition.

We should play our own game and attack, he does exactly that and he's too naive.

We should have spent more money but we don't to be a mess financially if we go down.

He should sit in the stand but he should be down on the touchline.

With the media he should be guarded and assured whilst being funny and entertaining.

He should stop accommodating players but he should only play our very best XI and nothing else.

He should play with 4 defenders, 5 midfielders and 3 strikers. He should do this and he should do that.

We should stop playing hoofball or get Tony Pulis in.

These contradictions are often seen on here and how can he make the wrong decisions if they're right in the eyes of the managerial geniuses of foxestalk?

I like Pearson and I want him to succeed but I wouldn't be averse to him getting sacked if there was a better, rational alternative available but in my opinion there isn't and we should show the man a bit of faith instead of criticising the things that he's supposed to be doing.

I think some fans have issues with losing, I don't like it either but it's going to happen, we're newly promoted Leicester. It doesn't matter if Pep Guardiola (and his Barca style of play), Tony Pulis or Nigel Pearson is our manager we WILL lose games, it's inevitable.

What happens if we sack Pearson and Pulis days no? We have a caretaker manager in charge and we'll lose some more, then we have to scrape the barrel for a championship manager or a foreign one, I can't see Susan Whelan or Terry Robinson pulling out a Pochetinno, can you?

It seems bad, we are in the bottom three, Pearson has made mistakes, Pearson will learn from his mistakes, he'll have money to spend in January and he will try to improve the squad, the results and himself.

So before you want him out actually think for a minute that it could be a whole lot worse and it's unlikely it'd be any better than it currently is.

Summarise, I can't be bothered to read all of that.

I think the problem with a lot of football fans is the exaggeration when they are overly happy or pissed off after a match. If you want a proper discussion, really you need to wait a few hours for everybody to calm down.

what he should have done is got a new LB, replaced Lloyd Dyer, a quality attacking midfielder and a quality striker He had from April to sort this out and didn't we all could see this needed to be done

I agree, no better option for sure. Pulis has done wonders at times but his football bores the hell out of you. It is life of a football manager, whatever tactics you play, players etc... if you lose, play badly then someone will always criticise. Whether Pearson is doing the right things or not, we will soon find out at the end of the season that is what he should be judged on, we are only 13 games in and Pearson as proven he is capable of adapting if given time.
