iamafox Posted 7 December 2014 Posted 7 December 2014 Wouldn't mind Steve Clarke, did well at West Brom.
The Blue Moon Posted 7 December 2014 Posted 7 December 2014 Why? Proven track record. The fact you can beat a handful of prem teams with direct physical football whereas if you try to outplay them you actually have to have some talent. Pulis in Jan would be enough time to keep us up with relative ease. But I'm not saying I want that to happen. He's like the death of football, and he's a Welsh ****. Doesn't bother me what division we're in don't know why some fans so hung up about it.

He was at Stoke for two seasons before promotion so had time to implement his methods and get in the correct players. He's in a race against time with us and Palace already had physical players like Dann, Chamakh, Jedinak, Ward, Delaney to supplement the pace and skill. Our midfield is too similar in style and Ulloa doesn't bully defenders. I'm sorry but we don't seem the right fit at all for Pulis.

You don't have to be 7 ft tall to be physical.
hackneyfox Posted 7 December 2014 Posted 7 December 2014 Pulis is a mercenary who shafted Palace. Really? You could take the view that he didn't get the financial support he expected from the owners so left rather than taking the blame and getting shafted.

I'd happily take Pulis, stay up, get used to this division and then get a new manager who gets us playing good football as well as getting results.

So it took him until 2 days before the start of the season to decide that? Wouldn't want him and his stupid baseball cap anywhere near this club.
