Steven Posted 26 December 2014 Author Posted 26 December 2014 Our left hand side is genuinely upsetting. When has it not this season.
Fox Ulike Posted 26 December 2014 Posted 26 December 2014 looks a bit more of a balanced line up than recently but still lacking a defensive midfielder. Still too fragile in midfield tho for me Can't see us getting anything from this one unless James or Hammond gets on the pitch before they score.
Cropwellfox Posted 26 December 2014 Posted 26 December 2014 Wow. Weaker than last year. Happy ****ing Christmas
Tuna Posted 26 December 2014 Posted 26 December 2014 Get some new players in on the 1st of January please Nigel. Anyone will do who can play left side.
The Doctor Posted 26 December 2014 Posted 26 December 2014 Return to last seasons formation then - 4-4-2, presumably with Nugent linking the midfield and attack. Konchesky - Schlupp still looks weak as hell.
Guest Col city fan Posted 26 December 2014 Posted 26 December 2014 4-4-2 Manwell Pablo will be happy? Let's see if it works. I'm happy to see Nugent back in.
dhermon Posted 26 December 2014 Posted 26 December 2014 Staying up til 2am to listen to the game and we bloody go behind after 1 minute this is depressing!!
morris1234 Posted 26 December 2014 Posted 26 December 2014 4 points 1) we seem to lack any idea or decision when going forward in terms of how we are going to break teams down 2) we no longer make teams work for their goals 3) set pieces need looking at, obviously. I'm not saying strangely choreographed set pieces but use your head, instead of clipping it in to ultimate failure each time, think about the next phase of play and the next. Jesus - if your on the edge just drill it and see if it takes a touch! Better than giving their defenders a chane to set themselves and organise AND Then break AND then score... 4) in case you didn't hear the 7 times he's said it, ian stringer made the goal to be after 58 seconds...ask him, he'll tell you again and again...
