We clearly miss Hammond when he's not in the team and he does an effective job breaking up play in our own 1/3. I think most fans recognised that during his first injury spell. Wrong. Wrong. Wrong. SecretPro Posted 19 January 2015 Posted 19 January 2015 Lots of mental people leaving Cambiasso out of the side His link up play with Kram will bring us goals - he's the only centre mid who knows how to play a through ball. Also an unknown Kramaric is better than Nugent and Vardy (3 goals in 23 games between them).

I've gone for the side Id pick if all available towards the latter part of the season when we need wins and therefore a bit more attacking impetus. Schmichael De Laet Was Wes Schlupp Mahrez James Cambiasso Knockaert / Albrighton Kramaric Ulloa GK was tricky but in the end I gave up aerial domination to feeling more comfortable with ball at his feet. Schwarzer might change this when ive seen him I guess. Want my full backs overlapping so gone for the two who offer the most in this respect. Also as I'm looking at later in the season Kramaric will be more settled and I'm pinning my hopes on him continuing his fine scoring record at all levels. Knockaert or Allbrighton im unsure on, Lawerence not ready and as Schlupp is at LB one of these two will need to take this job on. Anyway I'm sure others will disagree but just my thoughts at the moment.

foxfan92 Posted 25 January 2015 Posted 25 January 2015 Ok I change my mind - a lot - but right now I am wondering if this would work.- playing Nugent behind Kramaric and Ulloa ... the reason being I've noticed Nugent isn't great at being a striker in this league but he harries the opposition - makes it hard for them to get any time on the ball - and he links up the defence and attack well - which is what we are lacking right now ... so maybe he's being used in the wrong position and he's the missing link we're looking for in midfield ... .............Hamer............: (big fan on Schmichael - but the number of clean sheets with Hamer must mean something) ......Morgan......Wasyl...........De laet......................Schlupp (schlupp has been brilliant on the wing and I've liked simpson but hoping the two full backs take opportunity to get forward)...............Cambiasso............ (or Hammond)...Mahrez....Nugent...Drinkwater.. (albrigton for one of these for games where opposition defence looks vunerable from crosses ... .................................................................or maybe Hammond .if we give Schlupp licence to run forward more (with either Cambiasso or Hammond or Drinkwater covering when he does) ...............Kramaric............................................Ulloa......................
