You can't be serious. Although you could be right, we're about to take a player who can't even get into Stoke's side. We've every right to attempt signing them. But not to expect they'll choose us above established sides.

I didn't say we should have signed all these players. Just that this type of experienced player is the type we need, the type that Martin O'Neill signed and the current manager doesn't. Another out of context comment in reply to my original points. Bored keep repeating this so will gracefully depart this subject.

West Ham sign him probably on a higher wage and the attraction of living in London. It's not a right or anything, it's simple we can't compete financially. We can try and probably have (but seemingly as its hidden from the media, it is translated into us not trying).
