...the day Pearson finally took Morgan out the team.

Never thought I'd ever see the day I celebrated David Nugent coming on! lol

Well done Nige, next step omitting him entirely from the team!

You set up was still ****ing pathetic setting up not to lose, again, you succeeded in that objective (finally) but perhaps you havn't realised yet....we need wins especially against a team going down to 10 men.

Oh may I add play like that in the Championship and we'll struggle in that league aswell.

Where was the Man City like performance everyone was waxing lyrical about today? Why do we lower our performances to match the lesser opponents?

People's wilful ignorance of this is upsetting me.

We were a much, much better side a year ago than now.

As I said during the week the game would be won or lost with the team selection. Once again NP got it wrong. 5 at the back and no Nugent.  NP is either blind to the obvious or doesn't want to admit the fans are right.

Just feel like we've gone backwards. We were dog shit today. And Np and his tactics were as usual shocking.

I've given up all hope.

Decisions like continuing with Morgan not even giving Albrighton a go and playing five men at back in a must win game are criminal i think

The only one who can't see the problems is the manager. Hard to imagine it's the same one as done so well last year. Pathetic.

Agree totally. But to be fair to Morgan he actually had a good game today and was taken off.

Wasnt bad today, Morgan. But hes not at all capable and you dont exactly see h motivating the team from the back which is what you need in games like this.

Pearsons mate, as is Schwarzer. Whilst its obvious that Albrighton and Knockaert clearly aren't.

Completely oblivious to the fact that this has been Wes Morgan's best game all season.

I agree.

I'm not having a pop at Morgan per se, what the point of this post is really is that the set up was criminal, 5 at the back still and the person who I would have took out because of previous performances - Morgan.

Made me laugh Hamer's lost his place on the bench now aswell. Pathetic.

I cant understand why Albrighton hasn't been given a chance. He's bubbly and adds genuine width to the team. While his crossing is better than anyone who plays.

He sent on young Tom Lawrence today which I also thought was unfair to the young lad.

I really thought Lawrence was up for it.

If anything it was an opportunity for him, being favoured over Albrighton / Knockaert as of late gives him confidence im sure.

I don't want 5 - 4 - 1, I think we're more than capable at a 4  - 5 - 1 / 4 - 3 - 3, but the wing-backs seemed to work in transitioning attacks today, would have liked to have seen more from Schlupp though.

Same side, but without the confidence or winning mentality

Np over his time here in both spells has continually made stupid bizarre decisions.

League one he played Martin in goal over Henderson despite everyone preferring Hendo. Used to love playing Oakley right mid ahead of likes of Gradel. Harry Kane was always shafted onto left wing and never up front. I've lost count of other similar decisions like this.

Loves doing things like this to accommodate his mates, and yet doesn't give chance to likes of Albrighton.

Only 4 of our starting XI today were regulars last season.

Glad somebody else on here has seen it as well.

It's all been forgotten though as we got promoted.
