It was going toward and around the exclusion zone. before peaking into it, Our ships had shadowed it for 2 days.

You really need to do your homework before you make yourself look even more stupid. Not only was it outside the exclusion zone it had been sailing away from the Task Force for 8 hours.

Should have been 60-80 degrees in the other direction then, it had been shadowing the exclusion zone for 2 days after exiting. Sir henry Leach.

Also from a released dossier on the 30th year, I'll see if I can fish it out.

The naval history website.

Nice to see you ignored my request for your account and source in order to attack mine.

That sir is an unquestionable and objective unbiased source. l444ry 0 cityfanlee 1.

I'm not "justifying" anything.

I'm stating fact. The belgrano was in our waters, Days after it should have been. Argentina were told they would be attacked if they were in our waters, the Belgrano was.

As stated before Argentina had damaged/sunk 22 of our vessels. Not a risk worth taking.

The Belgrano was the first naval casualty of the war. It was not in 'our waters', not even within the 200 mile exclusion zone.

You are just embarrassing yourself with this bs.

casualty meaning sunk... Not damaged from argentine attacks.

Really not Bullshit, Really not embarrassing.

We were at war... Total "Casualties"

225 killed

115 POW

2 destroyers

2 frigrates

1 container ship

1 lcu ship

1 lsl ship

24 helicopters

10 firefighters

775 wounded

Let's let the belgrano head back toward the exclusion zone (official military dossier)

Thatcher didn't kill mining.

Unions killed mining.

Are you Moosey in disguise?

Could a definition of the greatest be the one who caused the fewst problems?

Global advances, unions and mining, killed mining.

Thatcher finished the job, Good on her too.

Mining is not dead it's just done elsewhere.

Mining is not dead it's just done elsewhere. - Cheaper and more efficiently at that

Can be measured in any way you choose i suppose providing you give reasoning... Thatcher for me purely becasue of the state she inherited and the way she left it, turning us from a country with rubbish uncollected and the dead unburied through strikes over pay, to a country competing globally again!

There was gas to be sold. Have you tried cooking on a coal fired induction hob. It's shite. Utter shite.

No, I just think like the mostly silent majority of this country who believe Thatcher was a great PM (even if wasn't born when she was in office, but that doesn't mean I can't have an opinion)

Look at any 'Top 10 PM' lists and the like, voted for by the public or experts, and Thatcher is almost always in the top 5 at least.

You've embarrassed yourself enough recently, calm down

Lee you have every right to your opinion and discussion but you'd be really daft to join forces with MooseNedry in anything else. It's a slippy slope to perverse idiocy.

Surprise he ignored my request and hasn't replied since...

You seriously want a link to what is common knowledge to disprove your unsourced claptrap. Deary me cityfanlee23. Just Google it yourself.
