  1. Nobody associated with Brendan Rodgers' time here should be considered to manage us ever, so hard no on Davies. Plus, he spent more on 1 player in league 1 than the rest of the league combined to piss it, and have been massively disappointing this year, would have expected them to do an Ipswich and push for back to back given their size and money. We either need Pearson or our new Pearson to build from the bottom, no head coach, we need a manager who takes charge of the club. If Stockport don't go up I'd take Dave Challinor, similarly Clough would be on my radar as well.
  2. Basically the atmosphere tonight needs to be the complete opposite of Preston away 2 years back, instead of a 3 hour party just make it as toxic as possible, booing, chanting the lot. Only songs to be sung should be about our heros of the past, not one positive chanting should be aimed at any of the cutting mob.
  3. Play all of the fvckers who have been responsible for the demise of the club, so they can face the full brunt of criticism and toxic atmosphere. Hope Rudkin and the weasel of an owner are both there to take it as well.
  4. Issue is that of the squad of 30 players we have used this year there is only 1 that I would actually start and that's James, and he is half fit. With that being said I would go: Begovic Ricardo Vestergaard Lascelles Thomas Fatawu Skipp James BDR Ayew Daka Can't believe Rowett hasn't came in and seen this formation that the previous failed managers have played is also failing. We've not tried a 3 at the back, we've not tried a 2 up top, we've not tried a diamond midfield or anything in the last 2 years, unless we've been forced to by chasing the game or a sending off.
  5. The amount of 'must win' games been stated over the last 4 weeks that we haven't won and yet just 1 point from safety says it all as to how crap the teams down the bottom are. If we beat Wednesday, Portsmouth & Blackburn reckon that's enough, can't see Oxford or Pompey winning 3 games.
  6. If the rumours of Ayew starting are true Bristol City are a great price at 2/1 despite their missing players.
  7. Would guess Fatawu for Mavididi would be the only change, with BDR moving to the other side. Going forward when everyone is fit wouldn't be adverse to us playing a diamond with something like the following: Begovic Ricardo Lascelles/Vestergaard Nelson Thomas Winks Skipp James Mukasa Daka Fatawu
  8. Let's be honest all this is futile stuff in the grand scheme of things. If we hadn't appointed a Spanish PE teacher in the summer and stunk the place out for 30 odd games with wasters on the pitch then points deduction or not we'd be in no peril. Equally if Rowett is up to anything he should be able to guide us away from the iceberg to safety. In a 46 game season a 6 point deduction should not have made our destiny League 1 with how poor this division is.
  9. Despite it being a 'short term appointment' I think it's pretty much guaranteed he will be the manager next season as the lazy option. Situation 1 - We stay up and he does alright, board will probably think he's the right man to kick on with his own staff, players in and out etc. Situation 2 - We get relegated. They will see him as a very good manager for a league 1 club so keep him to try and rebuild during a firesale whereby we can't attract a manager of any substance. Only way I think he doesn't stay beyond this season is if we jist about stay up but see no improvement on the pitch and we get a bit lucky in the odd game to scrape through.
  10. If what is been said and heard that Big Nige is well enough and keen to return but the only barrier is this useless goblin, then Top needs to pull his head out of his arse and look at who has done more for Leicester City's success, and who has his hands all over the absolute misery and failure. Anyone at Brum tomorrow, by all means get behind King and the players (providing they do the bare minimum and run around and try) but make it absolutely clear that this clowns position at this club is untenable and needs removing, Top could immediately take some of the heat off himself by making just 1 decision. Let Rudkin sort the horses and what not out of you want to keep him on the payroll out of loyalty.
  11. Bloke has no redeeming features. For a big bloke he's surpringly weak, for a tall fella he's crap in the air, for a fairly athletic looking bloke he has very little pace and added to that he's useless with the ball and clearly lacks a footballing brain of any kind makes him probably one of our worst signings, and there is a decent list.
  12. No more hipster appointments now, people who turned their noses up at the likes of Moyes, Dyche, Wilder, Parker etc because we were 'too good' for those sort of managers need to realise that's exactly the sort of manager we need now.
  13. If Ricardo was one of Tops racehorse he'd be sent to the glue factory by now, absolutely finished.
  14. Liverpool (A) which could be a mauling.
  15. Did enjoy the 'where the fvcking hell is Top' chant last night, seems more are conttening on slowly. As others have said if he was surrounded by savvy business people and football people then fine be a hands off Chairman. The fact he did that propaganda video from his ivory tower in Bangkok about people closer and more hands on 2 months ago and has been seen once since tells you all you need to know.
