  1. I understand this it’s just that if we’re that close to admin then I can’t see that we can recover in any reasonable time just by losing rudkin. Sales can only be made in the summer and January.
  2. Don’t understand this rudkin being here isn’t the reason why we’d enter administration - him leaving doesn’t suddenly cast a rainbow across our finances he’s a big reason why we’re in this mess but his departure isn’t a magic wand! the only way it makes sense is If there are investors who are refusing to put their money in unless he leaves.
  3. Interesting I remember a Percy article from that period which specifically stated that souttar and VK were the only players with effective relegation clauses (like 50% drop) because they were signed when we were clearly in relegation trouble. I suppose it could be that they were given 37.5k/week deals on the basis that we could be relegated and those would be increased if we survived. and if 37.5k/week is unsustainable next season then we will only have the kids and have to sell everyone else!
  4. I didn’t think I needed to specify considering the amounts involved Wycombe couldn’t possibly have paid a player 70k/week, never mind 130k ! but I appreciate the confusion it elicited
  5. This exchange is a stark indication of how far we’ve fallen !
  6. When Wycombe came up to the championship a few years back, they were paying league 1 wages. most of their players were on 70/90k the Welsh lad up top (vokes) was their top earner at 130k
  7. It was dark and I guess they couldn’t see the amount of blood they’d expect to. they really screwed up because they just believed what they’d been told by the family. The accusations of racism made to the call handler did the damage because it created a narrative for the officers when they arrived. they were told that there had been no physical violence and simply didn’t believe what the dying man tried to tell them. I think we all agree that the officers let their profession (and of course Henry) down bigtime. but that doesn’t excuse the behaviour of farage and his cohorts in bringing a riot to the streets.
  8. Of course it was wrong to cuff him bit it’s not a criminal offence if they’d seen him ‘bleeding out’ then they would have dealt with it differently. The stab wounds to the heart that effectively killed him led to massive loss of blood into his lungs. they denied him dignity in death. His life wasn’t saveable by the time they arrived.
  9. I heard this announced yesterday and thought ‘what a good idea’. way more sensible to catch these things early - and CHEAPER ! I bet no one calls him out next time he’s interviewed for this race bait ignorance
  10. I think the wrong copper was outed today and has received death threats
  11. And a sell on although if it was £15m for a fairly unexposed 17 y o then we might struggle to get that to stick. imagine being a defence trying to cover Dowman on one side and Monga on the other ! arsenals left wing is a lot easier to break into than their right side!
  12. The police officers didn’t break the law they just did a shit job
  13. I think it will become an issue now because there is another video of this person carrying a weapon of some kind (I assume a kirpan but I’m no expert) whilst dressed in ceremonial garb and threatening the public. Obviously he totally lets down his religion. Up until this point, Sikhs have been carried their Kirpans here with pride and without an incident where they have been used to attack (unless in self defence). however, some people will wonder if carrying a bladed weapon for self defence is acceptable for one group when it isn’t for others. I see above that self defence is not a reason for carrying so it’s purely ceremonial religious reasons. is there any way that the Kirpan can be secured so it couldn’t be taken from someone wearing it and used by someone else ???
  14. Just saw the video of Henry Novak’s last moments. What a tragic incident. his murderer will not serve less than 21 years. That means he could be free before his mid forties. Given that he accused his victim of racism to try and avoid responsibility for the attack, I’m not sure why he should be allowed to re enter society before his mid sixties. We simply have no need for people of his character to be free and walking amongst us. whilst the weapon was not actually a Kirpan, are we reaching a point where the carrying of such a weapon will have to be curtailed ?
  15. The next appointment is irrelevant unless the coach is going to be allowed to upset the dressing room by telling them what they are (a bunch of unfit, overpaid pussies)
