Leicester Lass Posted 10 April 2006 Posted 10 April 2006 Good choice davieG I have so many good memories of Muzzy but who can forget that bicycle kick. We want our Muzzy back, we want our Muzzy back...
Katy Posted 10 April 2006 Posted 10 April 2006 God love him! Him and Lenny were total legends, I remember his first game for us when he was on loan from Chelsea. We were begging for MON to buy him permanently (a bit like Ryan Smith when he first came ) Ill never forget the Watford away game in '96 when we snuck into the play offs by the skin of our teeth, Muzzy scored the winner and a legend was born, the rest as they say is history.
C-man Posted 10 April 2006 Posted 10 April 2006 Muzzy's my favourite ever City player that I can remember. He was pure class, and i cried when i realised that he was going to leave if we got relegated

Ric Flair Posted 18 April 2006 Posted 18 April 2006 I know it ended in tears but one of my favourite Izzet memories was the goal he scored against Leeds that got it back to 2-2 in the 03/04 season. At the time it looked like there could be a mini-revival on the cards after we had beaten Birmingham only the week or so before. Izzet's screamer went in and the sheer passion for Leicester shone through. There are so many great memories of him, his kung-fu kick celebration after scoring against Forest at Filbo in 1997. The volley against Spurs where he said he was tempted to run in to the Carling Stand, down the stairs and out of the ground. Legend.

Think that was my favourite Muzzy moment I still get a lump in my throat every time I see that goal I swear the roof nearly came off Filbert Street when that corker hit the back of the net!

Izzet's screamer went in and the sheer passion for Leicester shone through. Tell me about it. I was at Elland Road that night and our corner went absolutely berserk. If we'd gone on to win that game I really think we could've stayed up that year. Muzzy had eight incredible years with us and his contribution should never ever be forgotten. I think he's missed us as much as we've missed him!

I think he's missed us as much as we've missed him! i remember that game too, i was right next to the railings where the Leeds fans were on the left of us and everyone charged towards them when that went in. I nearly got squashed but didnt give a shit as we had the chance of staying up after that goal...for a few minutes
