l444ry Posted 20 December 2006 Posted 20 December 2006 The programme is crap but there is no better market for laying odds than Big Brother. Don't back them....lay them.
Brummie-FOX Posted 20 December 2006 Posted 20 December 2006 Didn't they get fined last year for letting somebody who was already voted out back into the house. She/He was liked aswell. Didn't they end up winning it aswell? Or am I completely mistaken?

Brummie-FOX Posted 20 December 2006 Posted 20 December 2006 Did I get any bit of it right? And I voted no too.
Rincewind Posted 20 December 2006 Posted 20 December 2006 I voted no. I hope I'm never that desperate to watch it voluntarily.
JoeyB Posted 20 December 2006 Author Posted 20 December 2006 i think the bit about them getting fined is right. the bit about the person being voted out then is and winning is wrong because Pete won(the guy with tourettes [spelling])
Katy Posted 20 December 2006 Posted 20 December 2006 Did I get any bit of it right? And I voted no too. The top bit

JoeyB Posted 20 December 2006 Author Posted 20 December 2006 should be better than the last celebrity big brother at least ive heard of some of the people this time
Daggers Posted 20 December 2006 Posted 20 December 2006 John Leslie (guy who was falsely accused of rape, but has been rumoured to be a bit of a "barrymore" type character to put it nicely) From Wikipedia: In October 2002, Ulrika Jonsson said in her autobiography that a television presenter had raped her. Amid rife media speculation, Matthew Wright, a one time columnist for the tabloid newspaper Daily Mirror, infamously disclosed - supposedly by accident - on his television show The Wright Stuff, that Leslie was the alleged person. Jonsson refused to tell the public or the police whether the correct person had been named. As a result of the publicity, several other women made accusations relating to indecent assault by Leslie, who was promptly arrested, and charged with assaulting a woman twice between 25 May and 28 May 1997. He was never charged with offences against Jonsson. The police dropped the charge against Leslie on 31 July 2003, after the complainant brought additional information to the attention of the prosecution service. The information, which has never been made public, was sufficient to convince prosecutors to drop the case against Leslie. On the court steps after his clearing, Leslie said that he had 'been to hell and back' and that he had 'maintained [his] innocence throughout'. The prosecution said that Leslie should leave the court 'without a stain on his character'. Despite this, Leslie's career never recovered, although he and Wright did make light of the situation by appearing together in the video for Bo' Selecta's Christmas 2003 single, "Proper Crimbo".

Deathside Posted 21 December 2006 Posted 21 December 2006 Big Brother is starting to bore me now. Its the same year in year out.....unless there is any talent worth watching then its a no for me. The last celebrity version was quite entertaining - So I'm sure I'll tune in again - Just hope there's no-one as loathsome as pete burns in it

Webbo Posted 21 December 2006 Posted 21 December 2006 i'd rather have my eyes gouged out with a rusty spoon.
