Kenners Posted 3 August 2010 Posted 3 August 2010 Joined for the sentiment but the club seems to have made its mind up, and i'm doubtful if it'll change it
OutFoxing-Cov-Since1884 Posted 3 August 2010 Author Posted 3 August 2010 Well, at least it'll let him know, if nothing else, we all love him!
Sparky Posted 3 August 2010 Posted 3 August 2010 As somebody once said on here "I got 99 problems but The Birch aint one"
Stand UP... Posted 3 August 2010 Posted 3 August 2010 Refuse to use face book so i will stick my vote hear
ibbosuk Posted 3 August 2010 Posted 3 August 2010 Birch has had his time, and is getting more than a little embarrassing. We are entering a new era, if Pearson's Persona did not fit in with the new Regime, what chance "The Birch" Lets face it these days Birch is about as funny as Norman Wisdom (And his jokes are from the same vintage) OUT with the OLD and in with......The £........................................................................................................................
Craig Posted 3 August 2010 Posted 3 August 2010 I doubt a Facebook group will stop this happening. I actually thought he sounded more downbeat on Saturday than usual, may have just been me though.
Lillehamring Posted 3 August 2010 Posted 3 August 2010 the problem if birch goes, is who replaces him, some failed hospital radio DJ from swindon?
Alexikokopops Posted 3 August 2010 Posted 3 August 2010 the problem if birch goes, is who replaces him, some failed hospital radio DJ from swindon? I'll do it.
Fox You Forest Posted 3 August 2010 Posted 3 August 2010 the problem if birch goes, is who replaces him, some failed hospital radio DJ from swindon? Craigadams22 is a hospital DJ isn't he? he could do a job. Regards, FyF.
Finchy Posted 3 August 2010 Posted 3 August 2010 Craigadams22 is a hospital DJ isn't he? he could do a job. Regards, FyF. You just know he'd use the platform to flog old Cov shirts and Dr Who videos.

AmericanScott Posted 3 August 2010 Posted 3 August 2010 Captain Cubbio's half time auction, it's the future. Wasn't he the one who posted pro-BNP videos on his Youtube also?
Bettsj2 Posted 3 August 2010 Posted 3 August 2010 Birch has had his time, and is getting more than a little embarrassing. Unpopular opinion but one that I agree with and i'm sure plenty of others do as well. He really isnt that funny and the half time entertainment the last few years has been absolute gash.
Finchy Posted 3 August 2010 Posted 3 August 2010 Unpopular opinion but one that I agree with and i'm sure plenty of others do as well. He really isnt that funny and the half time entertainment the last few years has been absolute gash. Agree with that but it's half time, who cares. The point is, he has been great for us over the years and he's Leicester through and through, it would have been nice if he retired rather than being shoved out. I guess for a lot of people it's just another sad reality of modern football, it's becoming less and less personal.
smallpauldj Posted 3 August 2010 Posted 3 August 2010 i agree we will prob end up with cheerleaders again like cov, i dont smoke but that would make me go outside anyway in embarrassment . its bad enough we play music after we score it drains out any possible song starting til kick off has started again and by then it just dont happen
1964FOX Posted 3 August 2010 Posted 3 August 2010 As much as I love the birch and I want him to stay I am usually having a piss and then queueing for 15 minutes to be told there's no pies left at half time so it won't really effect me.
wiggy Posted 4 August 2010 Posted 4 August 2010 I guess for a lot of people it's just another sad reality of modern football, it's becoming less and less personal. And cheaper.. Lee Hoos seems hellbent on getting rid of anyone at the club who has worked there for more than 5 years.. witness the shameful way Pete Jones was ousted, the dismantling of what was (amongst the press anyway) one of the best media depts in football to 'enhance' the marketing side of the club (Cept to do it on the cheap it's crammed full of minimum-wage-under-20-year-olds who wouldn't know what a football is if it smacked them on the side of the head), the wilfull degradation of the community side of the club (there used to be over 10,000 Junior Foxes when there were folk there who knew that kids are the future fans.. Hoos said that it didn't make immediate money so it was snowballed) Am amazed there are still people working there who know we play in blue shirts...
dave_the_fox Posted 4 August 2010 Posted 4 August 2010 This is all over Radio Leicester this morning!
