Micky Ruddle Posted 13 May 2007 Posted 13 May 2007 Stupid move he is going to make, if he went to Newcastle, it would've a respectable move, but to Chelsea . He is not going to make an appearance for the club.
Tevez Posted 13 May 2007 Posted 13 May 2007 He's Not Chelsea quality, he wont get in week in week out.

Milky Posted 13 May 2007 Posted 13 May 2007 what sort of a signing is that!, all the money in the world and they get sidwell. Jose and his scouts need to get out more, they should be signing the worlds elite, not an Arsenal reject.
Tevez Posted 13 May 2007 Posted 13 May 2007 If i was Sidwell, i wouldnt mind sitting on the bench earning a nice sum of money a week.
dandannieldanok Posted 13 May 2007 Posted 13 May 2007 More wasted talent, will be the same as SWP, not getting 1st team and losing form.
MC Prussian Posted 13 May 2007 Posted 13 May 2007 A big boo to Sidwell for this stupendous move! Could've done better at any other club, sauf ManU maybe.
Micky Ruddle Posted 13 May 2007 Posted 13 May 2007 Dream move? He'll soon come to his senses and realise, "Oh, what a big mistake i have made"
Mort Posted 13 May 2007 Posted 13 May 2007 Stupid call... i just dont see him featuring for Chelski on anything like a regular basis and he needs to be getting regular games, Newcastle would have been ideal with a strong manager like Alladyce IMHO, but you never know.
Tevez Posted 13 May 2007 Posted 13 May 2007 He's still quite young and i think he will learn from the likes of Ballacks and Makelele's and so on. This could be a smart move from Jose.

Jay Posted 13 May 2007 Posted 13 May 2007 He's Not Chelsea quality, he wont get in week in week out. what exactly is Chelsea quality Ballack? Shevchenko? big name players who don't turn up on the pitch only there for a big paycheck against someone who wants to give 110% for a club Chelsea didn't win the league because they have to many individuals and not a team unlike man utd who have some players who you could not call man utd quality like O'shea, Fletcher, Park but they all work together and in the end are worth more than a Ballack imo
Tevez Posted 13 May 2007 Posted 13 May 2007 Chelsea work together though, didnt they win the Premiership last year???

Brainy Posted 13 May 2007 Posted 13 May 2007 Similar to Scott Parker - he'll be gone within two years.
Scow Posted 13 May 2007 Posted 13 May 2007 Sidwell is the new Wright-Phillips. Except he's shit and ginger.
Mark Posted 13 May 2007 Posted 13 May 2007 No doubt he'll be called up to the England squad based on this transfer alone.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 13 May 2007 Posted 13 May 2007 I think he's a good player who had the choice between Chelsea and Newcastle? Maybe he wants to be in with a chance of winning something.
Rocky Dennis Posted 13 May 2007 Posted 13 May 2007 Says a lot about footballers. Money and status is more important to some of them than actually playing football. He knows full well he's not gonna be in the first team, but is just going for the mega salary. He'd probably be a starter for any of the other clubs that were after him.
Matt Posted 13 May 2007 Posted 13 May 2007 Sadly, very true in the present day. Tbf though its a job to them, just like a job is too us, yes we have to try, yes we have to do a good job (They can get away with doing a shit job - as shown by our overpaid wankers this season, and past ones infact) and yes they are more protected then us normal folk, but if someone was giving me less money and actually do some work, or more money and do less work i'd go for the later options, which is what he's doing, it is annoying for us as fans to see this happen. The only annoying part of it is, is that as I said they can get away with no being arsed and doing a shite job and still get the thousands a week, and we have to be bothered do a good job and get paid our hundred(s) a week.
