Leicesterboi Posted 12 September 2007 Posted 12 September 2007 After reading rumour after rumour on this website i feel it is necessary to set the record straight. The two contenders for the job are Simon Grayson and Billy Davies. Grayson has already met MM for talks and Davies is set for talks if Derby agree or he is sacked. My money is on Grayson but i GUARANTEE it will be one of these two! Watch this space!! I dont care whether you think i am just a rumour mill but once this comes through i will be back here replying to every single doubter!
Ric Flair Posted 12 September 2007 Posted 12 September 2007 Where does Grayson fit in with the 'experience of getting out of this divison' part of the criteria that Mandaric is using? Would he be coming in with an experienced chap as well?

But I'd have Keegan or Vialli ahead of either. But that would be ambition.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 12 September 2007 Posted 12 September 2007 Bad timing but you've obviously been tipped over the edge by this Keegan stuff. I'll add it to the pile.
filbertboy Posted 12 September 2007 Posted 12 September 2007 Where does Grayson fit in with the 'experience of getting out of this divison' part of the criteria that Mandaric is using? Would he be coming in with an experienced chap as well? Grayson working with Little who would be in a supporting role.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 12 September 2007 Posted 12 September 2007 Of the two I'd much prefer Grayson. But I'd have Keegan or Vialli ahead of either. But that would be ambition. Vialli made an absolute mess of Watford, I'd be steering well clear of him. Okay so he did alright at Chelsea with pots of cash and a brilliant squad but who wouldn't?
Jon the Hat Posted 12 September 2007 Posted 12 September 2007 Vialli made an absolute mess of Watford, I'd be steering well clear of him. Okay so he did alright at Chelsea with pots of cash and a brilliant squad but who wouldn't? Me! I would have played myself in whatever position I felt like on the day. Feeling energetic? I'm up front! Feeling Violent? Midfield enforcer! Lazy / hungover? I'm in goal! I would have been useless.
Webbo Posted 12 September 2007 Posted 12 September 2007 Out of the 2 I'd prefer Grayson. Tbh though I think you're blowing it out your @rse.
Thracian Posted 12 September 2007 Posted 12 September 2007 Vialli made an absolute mess of Watford, I'd be steering well clear of him. Okay so he did alright at Chelsea with pots of cash and a brilliant squad but who wouldn't? Has the money suddenly disappeared? It won't be a problem anyway. Vialli won't be coming here.

But if we have a choice then Davies.

Is it because you have read a rumour or is it that you have factual information?? Certainly the Davies part of your quote seems to have a lot of if's and and's attached to it to say that it is likely to happen. He works for Derby, we havent been given permission to talk to him, we havent paid £4million in compensation, he has never expressed any desire to join City. Why drop a division? Grayson doesnt seem to fit the mold of experienced been there and done it as MM was quoted he wanted. Please name your source.

Watford spent megabucks on crap old defenders like Ramon Vega under Vialli. Surprised you would want that sort of approach here.
Leicesterboi Posted 12 September 2007 Author Posted 12 September 2007 My source is reliable but i shall not disclose it on here as it will be unfair on them! All i can ask is that you wait and see for the result and then NSLL can eat his words. The person/people who told me do have VERY close links to the club.

And how many times does it turn out to be b*llocks? I have a source but wont name them as its unfair. Isnt it unfair to the members on this site? What about the "rumours" that Keegan is having talks this afternoon? You didnt answer my point that Davies is still at Derby??

Well tbh, your source could have really close links wit the club, but they could be rumours flying round! the only person who knows the manager he wants the most is Milan Mandaric! so we will have to just wait and see!

Leicesterboi Posted 12 September 2007 Author Posted 12 September 2007 Because if you recieve inside information you should not disclose it. So if it is then found that he has leaked it he will be in jeopardy from his manager! Blue Bob. in response, that is why i said Grayson is the more likely. However Davies has yet again had to deny he has had a rift with the board whilst unveiling Kenny Miller today. There's no smoke without fire as we saw with the Allen situation!

Click Quote before you reply then you can show what you were replying to....like i have. And other than that i dont know what i'm replying to. I tell you what though, if either Grayson or Davies gets the job i will put 'worships leicesterboi' as my sig.
