Mark Posted 20 October 2007 Posted 20 October 2007 3 shots in 90 minutes, you boring, boring man Megson.
martyn Posted 20 October 2007 Posted 20 October 2007 All things considered, the second half was 'not bad' and of course if it wasn't for some ruddy cheeked idiot we would have won the game, S****horpe were dismal. First half however was some of the worst football i've witnessed at any level for some time. Newton can rot off immediately and anyone who says Sheehan is anything more than a cultured left foot is delusional.
ASH17LCFC Posted 20 October 2007 Posted 20 October 2007 FOOKING CRAP LINEMAN COST US 2 POINTS Good game plan by Megson and we should had won, but Fryatt missing a great chance. Stearman and Newton fooking useless. We need a striker who can score. DJ useless.
JoeyB Posted 20 October 2007 Posted 20 October 2007 We're going for promotion according to kisnorbo in the after match interview..... Powerade MOTM kisnorbo and he got a bottle of powerade
Durnerz Posted 20 October 2007 Posted 20 October 2007 Very good performance from the lads today and were very hard done by with two baffling decisions from two inept officials. Ahhhh the Football league...
bigboy Posted 20 October 2007 Posted 20 October 2007 How much longer must we put up with this cr@p? Come on England
JoeyB Posted 20 October 2007 Posted 20 October 2007 City doing cool down behind....! Should technology be used now do you think?
NorthernFox Posted 20 October 2007 Posted 20 October 2007 I thought that was a good display overall although still lacking that cutting edge. However 1 goal conceded in over 500 minutes is definately the way forward. 7/10 overall.
Simon Posted 20 October 2007 Posted 20 October 2007 Not a great game, although we were much improved second half. But for a dodgy lino decision, would have been a one-nil victory, and probably on balance JUST deserved. It's painfully obvious though that the midfield just isn't there. Weso needs to start against Sheffield United and we need to find another CM if Megson isn't going to play Ferreira there cause Newton and Chambers just don't really cut it for me (and nor was Clem all that today either, but then he didn't get much of a chance...). And Sheehan just isn't as good as Mattock at left wing back. FACT
JoeyB Posted 20 October 2007 Posted 20 October 2007 Mego not gone to talk to sky! could he be on his way out..... *please, please please *
Thracian Posted 20 October 2007 Posted 20 October 2007 The Football League should launch an inquiry in the morning. What is the point of football if a match is going to be ruined by arseholes like those? We were cheated. Simple as that and while the football authorities refuse to allow video replays football officials can continue to adversely affect the outcome of matches. There will be all sorts of excuses. But Kisnorbo was not offside when he scored from Sheehan's free kick and how anyone can give something that simply didn't happen I don't know. It was bad enough having Hume sent off. What for? For going for the ball and heading it while his opponent made a back and didn't get anywhere near the ball. How the hell was that a foul by Hume? The referee cocked up in the first place on refusing to book their full-back when he wrapped his arm around Hume's throat. Instead Hume became the fall guy and the referee was determined to have him. That is not fair refereeing. It really is time something was done. a) Video replays. b) Put incompetent officials out of the game for a period of time that will enable them to have alook at their performance and put it right. They are so sodding keen to wave their flags, blow their whistles and wave their cards they are helping to ruin football. I happened with England and now it has happened to us. I hope they feel proud of themselves.
Mark Posted 20 October 2007 Posted 20 October 2007 Mego not gone to talk to sky!could he be on his way out..... *please, please please * Not talking to Radio Leicester either....
filbertway Posted 20 October 2007 Posted 20 October 2007 Boring, uninspiring, severely lacking talent from some players. What a waste of 90 minutes of my life.
JoeyB Posted 20 October 2007 Posted 20 October 2007 Does that mean he is either pissed of to fcuk or leaving then? Milan has rejected approaches... All aboard the Jose band wagon
ForestFilbert Posted 20 October 2007 Posted 20 October 2007 Is that Beagrie talking out of his arse? I totally agree, Peter Beagrie was talking out of his anus. To suggest that our disallowed goal was correctly ruled out was pathetic, perhaps he was too scared to upset his 'old' club. Have some guts Beagrie and admit it was a goal. Crap decision by the linesman. As for the performance, not great to be honest but after going down to 10 men it was a good result. We created better chances after Hume's sending off, incidentally....when has heading a ball been a sending off offence?????
breadandcheese Posted 20 October 2007 Posted 20 October 2007 Our wingbacks might as well be full backs. They barely get forward to support the play so it's no surprise we barely create a chance. We're defensively solid yes, but then we should be with 3 central defenders, 2 virtual fullbacks, 1 sitting midfielder protecting the back three (Clemence) and a fullback adding another defensive element to our midfield. We're basically setting our team out as a bank of 8 defensive players and 3 forward players. In playing like this, our strikers are feeding off 50/50 punts or set pieces. In playing like this, I hope Bolton push for Megson.
Benji Posted 20 October 2007 Posted 20 October 2007 Had a game plan and stuck to it fantastically, conned out of it by the officials Hume was silly to go jumping in like that after the one 2 seconds before but the challenge singled out was never a foul. Their player who got booked, in the 2nd half did a similar thing in giving away 2 fouls in the space of a minute, however was there a second yellow for him? Disallowed goal, what was the Sky commentator after the game on about... the ex-scunny player, absolute muppet, he was making up rules for offside as to why it was the right decision, dickhead. VERY frustrated, great gameplan and well stuck too, 2 points lost alla mr officials.
Master Fox Posted 20 October 2007 Posted 20 October 2007 Well we should have won.... But is Ginge going??????
Thracian Posted 20 October 2007 Posted 20 October 2007 Not talking to Radio Leicester either.... Perhaps he's gone to sort it out with the linesman and the referee. I'd have no sympathy with them whatever he did.
Candidcamera Posted 20 October 2007 Posted 20 October 2007 The improvement at the back is tremendous - the midfield just are not good enough - and we need a goal scorer.
Wezleylowski Posted 20 October 2007 Posted 20 October 2007 I honestly dont know how much longer i can watch Megsons negative horseshit, I am depressed.
