iBleedLeicesterColours Posted 15 April 2009 Posted 15 April 2009 I think as a celebration of the lads achievement this year and the great support the club should issue free scarfs to every1 to get the party atmosphere goin !!!

I know this is wrong place but shall contribute here before it's moved. Flags would be better, for example, I thought the Chelsea fans and their flags at the end of the game vs Liverpool looked awesome.

That didn't really take off. However it did look good, but probably wouldn't work for Leicester!

The little B*****ds that sit near me dont need to be given flags please! I value my eyes
James. Posted 15 April 2009 Posted 15 April 2009 I thought all those flags at Chelsea looked a bit tacky and shit. Would rather see scarves, not that it will happen anyway.

welck12 Posted 15 April 2009 Posted 15 April 2009 I thought all those flags at Chelsea looked a bit tacky and shit. Would rather see scarves, not that it will happen anyway. Spot on. The only time you can get away with flags are the stupidly big arse ones that you only ever seem to see at european nights at anfield or when you watch european teams play domestically

I thought that looked a poor way of covering up Chelseas poor home support?
Fox92 Posted 15 April 2009 Posted 15 April 2009 Pitch invasion?? Love it. How many does everybody think S****horpe are going to bring. Not many I think. Why should they come; A Friday night. It is near where I live [30 mins away] so thats about 1hour 45minutes in the car. Longer on the bus. Generally, are they going to win? It isn't there first visit. They didn't win here last year.
iBleedLeicesterColours Posted 15 April 2009 Author Posted 15 April 2009 yeh pitch invasion and scarfs sound good to me .. the post about valuing eyes mAde me lAff I hope it happens !
joeyates Posted 15 April 2009 Posted 15 April 2009 love the scarf idea maybe blue and white stripes with each stripe having a letter on to spell out champions so on a blue stripe the letter would be white
20mj08 Posted 15 April 2009 Posted 15 April 2009 scarfs yes got to be done but as for the pitch invasion would ( i would love to ) but tigers are playing there the next day so i bet the club will be pathetic and have extra stewards to stop it happerning

I had a look on their website .. WE have only allocated them 500
dandannieldanok Posted 15 April 2009 Posted 15 April 2009 I agree that it did look a bit tacky at Chelsea and I wouldn't want our club to do the same, but at the end of last night's game I'll admit to thinking that when they were all up it looked reasonably decent.

And we r Leic\ester ..so Ill be suprised if it happens ...Anyone got any suggestions as to how we can get every1 to take scarfs and have a party ??? Doubt they would do it, but could contact the club suggesting ideas - such as the scarfs, afterall on the Official Site are saying "Lets make it a sellout" and urging fans to go, so suggest the idea, let them know it might add to the atmosphere () e.t.c. As I said I doubt the club will do because a) It would cost alot and b) they only have a week and half to get a certain quantity of scarves made, e.t.c. An idea to how it could be done though
Guest Posted 15 April 2009 Posted 15 April 2009 I had a look on their website .. WE have only allocated them 500 Suppose it kinda depends on whether they're up in the playoff spots by then as to whether they'll enquire about more or be allocated more by us. I think they've got a couple of games in hand on Tranmere and Leeds as it stands at the moment
20mj08 Posted 15 April 2009 Posted 15 April 2009 i know someone who makes scalfs for teams and sells at the wales games and england rugby im sure he could do it in a week and half as hes got little work on. we can all dream tho
Blue&WhiteFox Posted 15 April 2009 Posted 15 April 2009 A pitch invasion would be great, but then again i just can't see it happening. Tbh you only need a few to start running on then the rest should pile on.

Hand loads out .. You could become a legend
iBleedLeicesterColours Posted 15 April 2009 Author Posted 15 April 2009 Look at it like this Promotion .. Doesnt happn often ... so0o0 .. Make the most of it while we can .. or next season everybody will regret not making a party of it .

davieG Posted 15 April 2009 Posted 15 April 2009 If you want to wave a scarf about go and buy one! Why do people want the club to manage how we celebrate? For me 20K+ fans waving flags or scarves around provided by the club is on a par with goal music. Apart from all that they aint going to do it - the last time they gave out flags, expecting them to be there at every game they never saw them again.
