Fofana didn’t even move his leg, Mavididi seemed to throw himself over it

Wonder what it would take to make it onto the subs bench nevermind an appearance. Fatawu injured, Buonanotte suspended, Reid stinking the place out clearly not enough.

He has a knack of at least finding himself in goalscoring positions and with the way Enzo plays you never know.

Our only productive winger is Fatawu. Cooper won't play two wingers, so with Bounanotte out he'll need one of them to drift inside so El Khannous will take that role. McAteer will offer better defensive support at least, but I agree he's not good enough in attack.

We’ve nullified Fatawu as well then by playing him the left

It's all well and good starting Soumare, but he had an impact when he came on for Ndidi in the last match and in the cup Ndidi didn't play. When you play Soumare and Ndidi together it just doesn't work, like when we used to wheel out Mendy and Ndidi together, or Choudhury and Ndidi. It shouldn't even need to be said, he's been here many years now but we're still making these mistakes.

There are still some players in the u21s never going to make it here not helping, the likes of Cartwright and Pennant should have moved on by now

Monga looked great whenever he got the ball, Evans was always a threat too
