  1. Can’t believe nobody picked up he blatant simulation by Kane for the First penalty. Surely that needs to be looked at by the Panel. If that was Vardy he would have been hung out to dry like he was after West Ham at the end of 15/16
  2. I think this is the perfect time to play these guys. They are the epitome of what is wrong with money mad modern football. Disrupted the club with their last minute approach and the players should all be right up for this one. Get at them from the off and keep going the whole game. If we are going to lose, let’s at least give them a go and who knows, we may just give them a bloody nose amoungst other things
  3. I think what stood out when Mahrez arrived was how he was clearly an upgrade from fans favourite Knockart. If I remember clearly, it was his defence splitting passes that stood out to start off with, together with needing to bulk out a bit. Let’s give the lad some space and not overhype him. He clearly has all the attributes to be amazing, so let’s not get too negative when he makes mistakes or has a quiet game, as he is bound to do.
  4. I think he must be on a retainer from Mahrez’s agent. Every ducking week he has to give a reason why Mahrez should leave. It’s either, ‘he’s not happy here and needs to be around better players ‘ or he plays a blinder and ‘he’s too good for Leiceater, he should move ‘ and now he doesn’t even play but finds a reason to say he’s going!! Seriously, someone need to investigate his finances! Did one of our players shag his wife or what???
  5. Whoops! Wasn’t even Close!
  6. Thought their two German centre backs and their left back looked very good.
  7. 100% this! Couldn’t understand how we didn’t get a penalty for that; he almost gave him a bear hug and got away with it?!
  8. Really believe his link up play and forward drive was at least as good as DD ever was. Different style of play that suits a more cultured midfielder and that’s what we have in silva. Definitely not 100% upto speed and I was screaming at him to take the ball on through the middle in a number of passages of play outside their box. However, in hindsight with his lack of match fitness, he probably wouldn’t have got through to shoot with much power. After looking like a practice match, we woke up after the first goal and totally bossed the second half. COYB
  9. Have nothing but respect for anyone who looks after their parents/ family. Looking after parents in old age is challenging, but one who has mental health/ addiction issues must be horrible. Respect to @ian Stringer
  10. Incredibly talented and has the swagger about him. Needs to work on his strength and tracking back, but that will come. Great game son, but don't let it get to your head and keep putting the hard graft in so you can fulfill your potential.
  11. Thanks Fez, ordered from Wordery and with free worldwide shipping, I may just order one for my brother in Australia!
  12. Best atmosphere of the season by far. From before kick off to the standing ovation with three minutes to go. Was just incredible, players definitely responded - haven't got tickets for theast three matches.. Those of you lucky buggers who have, this has set the bar. Give them the same sort and they'll look after the rest! COYB! Best atmosphere of the season by far. From before kick off to the standing ovation with three minutes to go. 13. I feel nervous about the positivity, especially since the last time we saw this was after the man city game. However, I trust Ranieri and our players to stay focused, grounded and keep doing what they are doing. I think the experience of the great Escape will actually stand them in good stead. I for one am not taking it for granted, but am not worrying about Jinxing anything. Our best approach as many have said, is to sing and clap our hearts out for 95mins at every one of those 7 games.. That I think will be the difference.. Keep the faith and back them like we did after WBA scored their first goal.. #Fearless
  14. Thanks Danny, always had a soft spot for Liverpool too. If you play to your potential, you'll give the spuds a rough time. All the best for the rest of the season pal
  15. Good to hear you're still a fox even though you live in Chelski. I think the young striker you are talking about might be Martin Henderson.. Think he debuted at the same sort of time as linekar but might be wrong. I remember Dennis law being interviewed about him saying what amazing potential the kid had.. Don't what happened to him though.. Was in the Jock Wallace Era or summer training on sand.. Loved his positive attitude
  16. Hi Palace Fan, Thank you for your support, I'm sure most fans outside of the supposed big teams are like you and can see how this would benefit all of the footballing world. Bringing back in reach what most have believed an impossible dream for ordinary teams without chucking stupid money at it. Best of luck in the cup and won't mind too much if you guys roll over and make life easy for us when we visit your place.
  17. Stark contrast to Norwich match. Great atmosphere from the off, great roar and support after they went infront. Rest of the first half was just amazing. Felt it went a little flat in the middle of the second half after they'd scored and felt the crowd's nerves suppressed the noise. Got going again towards the end a great to see the players getting support after the final whistle. Fcuk the opposition, we need to be the 12th man whatever is going on in the match.. The team team have performed miracles to get to this point.. We need to back them non stop through each and every match. I honestly think this is what will get us results in the home stretch.
  18. Is it me or was it such a great sign of our players attitude that they dd high fives with both sets of kids when they came in, unlike the Man City players..Real Class
  19. I've been a City fan all my life, it just seems unreal reading that thread...Got me pretty emotional to be honest..please please lets see it through!
  20. Both City and Liverpool forums being quite positive about us, we're everyone's second team, even our title competition! Much better than those Utd and Spuds fans
  21. Evening ladies and gents. An East African Indian who came over as a tot in the late 60's, a City supporter all my life. Been through so much heartache, but that makes what's happening now even more enjoyable. You'll be glad to hear that my brother who moved over to New Zealand, still looks put in our results every Sunday morning and we share the foxes joy whenever we speak. Remember some good times; Jock Wallace and the amazing young team he built and kept the faith till Brian Little got us winning things again. I probably spend more time checking for updates on this damn site than I should, but I love my team! My biggest reason for coming on here is to urge everyone to get behind the team. Yes, they're not clicking right now, but fans getting nervous and going quiet or worse still, having a go at them during matches, is just going to make it worse. Whether they win lose or draw, we need to show them we appreciate them and let Ranieri do his tinkering! How many times this season have we come from behind? Each time, the support was amazing and it spreads on to the pitch and gives them that extra bit that they thrive off.
