* Some help please * My Blackburn ticket hasn’t arrived. Left it thinking it will just arrive today but by the time I got home to realise it hadn’t, the ticket office was closed. Not had an email saying I’ve been selected for random ticket check or anything. I’m on that 19:20 flight to MCR from Amsterdam mate. Haven’t received an email regarding cancellation. You think the flight has been removed entirely or perhaps cancelled for some people only? Confusing

I’m not having this ‘stop gap’ rubbish. I think with this theory people are just assuming we hit top 6 again this year without the realisation other teams will be stronger this year, too (West Ham for example). If we finish mid table or just outside European places, surely that will affect the level of player we can attract next summer when a high quality RW becomes our priority. Oh yea, and we’ll probably sell Tielemans. A decent transfer window - just a little disappointed we haven’t got the dollar to go and get the goal scoring attacking RW we need.

However, look at last year when we all thought we might get Coutinho and it turned out we were after AMN or Chalobah. Lookman to me is a good squad player but I thought we were seriously after a starting XI right winger who can create, score goals. This lad has hardly played any time recently. Confidence, form. Yes, a fresh start might do him good but is that where we’re at? I think we’ve been out priced for our real targets and now we’re scrambling for someone who is or less quality. I hope I’m wrong and we have something up our sleeve. I just think if it was a big name in anyway, we’d have got wind of something by now with the deadline tomorrow.

I see your point mate but just consider how much we’ve spent already, possible effects of Covid and the fact we haven’t sold any of our ‘star’ players, which is the normal model.
