The last 15 mins has to be some of the worst batting I’ve seen from us all season, and that’s saying something 😂

Heading over to Derbyshire in a bit, have done so the last few seasons for this fixture and I swear every year the weather is always effin terrible..!

I’ve been at them all and I can assure you (bar Durham because rishi was on fire) they’ve all been an absolute sh!t show! 😂

I reckon they’ll knock this off inside 12, even our bowling attack is significantly weaker today…. that has to be one of the worst batting displays I’ve ever seen, from 66-1 to all out for 112 is shameful

They obviously fancied an early night… absolutely abysmal 😂

There was some very silly chanting from where I was sat 😂

Just back from that… what have I just watched? lost all momentum and discipline when really we should have had them all out for no more than 120. when your opening batter comes out and plays the same shot and misses 8 times without scoring you know you’re done for!

Great start… Although knowing Leics we’ll find a sway of imploding somehow 😂

Another absolute sh!t show! We are so easy to score runs against, whilst our batters make it look it as though they’ve barely held a bat before 😂

Maybe it’s the fact that none of them have been involved recently, but play Kdh, Mendy, nacho and souttar and we may have a fighting (operative word) chance of at least putting in some kind of performance…

Was very good tonight… out of interest I spent a good majority of the game just watching him, particularly after we went two down as the disappointment of what was a very decent showing took over… he received the ball very well, and transitioned it into attack on a number of occasions. He also broke up play regularly when admittedly I assumed it was Wilf. Never looked as if his head dropped and he continued to offer to receive the ball (in tight areas) and beat the Liverpool press more regularly than not. It’s very clear to me that there is most definitely a player there in Bouba, yes we need to see it more often, but our setup and our instructions need to embrace his qualities. Keep the faith with him

On the way back from the game, didn’t realise we were playing prime 90’s man United… we looked absolutely petrified of them and yet they’ve had had to do nothing to win that game. We are so reliant on either youri or Maddison to pick out a forward pass it’s unreal, there is very little pattern to our play and the amount of times players have space in front of them to carry the ball into but choose to turn back and play it safe is scary, it’s actually sad to watch. This is not a criticism because obviously the guy is a hero and always will be, but it’s pretty clear we shouldn’t still be relying so heavily on vardy for goals… I think it’s optimistic that he’ll even hit double figures this season, but I don’t remember once getting out of my seat (until Justin at the very end) because I thought we were about to create a chance/maybe score. I really miss the days where we used to take games to teams, especially the top 6. on a slight positive I actually thought soumare was half decent, at least on occasion he put a few challenges in with some commitment and Evans was pretty solid. Other than that it’s all a bit of a shame right now!

My Chelsea supporting mate has said the white horse on Parsons Green is usually one for away fans about 5 mins walk to the ground

Patels just gone. Few more in than I expected but that’s still not saying much 😂

I am a bit surprised they haven’t done this, people may also struggle to attend the whole day but might fancy a few hours down there, imagine that £20 on the gate would soon put that idea to bed though! Anyway I shall be going down today, first time I’ve done a county champ game since childhood, interested to see how few will be down there!

Thinking of popping down tomorrow for a few hours, anyone know if it’s cheaper paying in advance for county champ games or is it same price on the gate? Thanks

Probably been mentioned before but went over to the Pillings marina in barrow today for the first time, very pleasant afternoon sipping a few pints out on the deck…

Loved it down there tonight, yes we should’ve seen the game out easier but let’s not take anything away from that batting performance…

Great performance that! Bowling and fielding once again very good! Great to keep the interest going into the final few games, shame there’s a bit of a break til the next game as we’ve got some momentum!

Needed to make much better use of the Powerplay than this to stand any chance I fear…

If we had one batsman who we could rely on for a big score every other game we’d be contenders in this competition, our bowling unit has to be up with most teams in this format…
