Whilst i think he was wrong, I'm not angry with him. He thinks he's morally right that he is with his newborn every night in London, he's got his missis in his ear and its an easy trap to fall into, he's just been an idiot, however if he were to think about it, it wasn't beyond his capability to fulfil his commitment to his family, and the club, and if he were to apologise I'd be happy for him to play for us next season. I cant see it though

I would rather we spent money on a DoF, coaches, scouts, a team of people who know football players, how to spot talent, how to negotiate contracts, how to train players to a system, and if that means keeping ruud to pick the side and stand on the sideline, so be it.

Could be okay, but just feels like the club are being lazy again, are they really exploring all options , have they made a 5 year plan, or is it just Top and Rudkin sat with a beer having a brain storm?

I had a difference of opinion on twitter regards this, and I've heard that Chris for LTID in support of Winks. Apparently Winks and his missis had a place in Notts, they moved back to London after the baby so his missis could be closer to family for support. The baby at the time was 4 weeks old, most dads get 2 weeks paternity and don't get paid millions of pounds for their job, I dont think Ruud was asking the earth, Winks performance was poor, and he had a duty of care to his employer to improve, he had options, he could have brought his missis and baby with him if he wanted, he could have rented a hotel suite nearby for his whole family, there really is no excuse, he cared little for the club, the fans, his team mates. I think he thought himself clever and morally right, it just showed how stupid pampered footballers can be sometimes, they're not in the real world

I went to Forest vs Cardiff when Hughton was in charge, atmosphere was doggo then. They're at the point we were when we were tearing the league up, when we created the mini earthquake -
He had that shot saved, that's probably what it was
-
I have a family link to someone who used to coach our U16's, and he told me that when we tried to keep Trey, we offered him a decent contract, but what sold Liverpool to him, was the path they laid out in his development to the first team. Hopefully we've learned our lesson.
-
It's the public ruck up that's further the issue. He may be in dispute with the manager, but to have your missis posting photos of them with baby and a drink in hand on match day is not good, its disrespectful to club, fans and fellow team mates
-
It's also because they do an afternoon training session followed by a morning session.
-
Wonder what we'll value him at, Sheffield Utd may get dewy eyed and pay some prem dough as they feel they owe him should they get promoted
-
Wonder if we'll have Hamza back, and whether he plays over Skipp?
-
His wages though.
-
We just got pray Skipp is rusty, out of form and low on confidence, and we've never seen his potential as yet, because of all the bad signings we've made, he's up there as one of the worst, its almost like Cooper said to Top "i know this brilliant talent called Oliver Skipp", top to rudkin "get it done, £25m is your limit", rudkin to levy "will you take £20m + £5m add ons?"
-
If there's a way we can move him on, then yeah sure. I think Ruud is staying anyway, that's why vestegaard and Winks will most deffo be moved on
-
He'd surely have to tear up his own contract then, if that's true, there must be something the club can do as he's not honouring his contract
-
He was superb for us last season. I don't like his attitude and thought he was in the wrong, but we can ill afford to have a player of his talent in the championship.not play
-
Because its a fan just talking about football and players, what's the harm in it?
-
The way he had the ball with 2 on him but took them out to run into the centre with ball stuck to his foot, I'm looking at pure potential
-
I would love this, but BEK is certainty to leave unfortunately, as a certainty as madders. We need a striker and attacking midfielder, wonder if we could look to Illias Chair, is he still at QPR?
-
Monga is better than fatawu It's like when we were comparing Knockeart and Mahrez, with Monga being the latter.

Motm for me -
This lad is so good, he could keep fatawu out. Is it possible to make him a first 11 player at 16? If so, we should, he'd be the best player we have, the ball literally sticks to his foot.

Whats a crying shame is Winks would do.a job for us next season, certainly more likely over skipp judging by current form. If we are willing to partly vestegaard to walk, does this mean ruud is staying? -

We were still shocking though, facundo and monga and forest being spent revived us, think maranakis was probably moaning nuno didn't make changes early enough, maybe he was right
