No. Lookman was very young when he played for us, I was amazed some on here thought he wasn't good enough for £12/13m. On the left he was better than Barnes -
I think moneys tight this accounting period, and the next. We can only sell if someone wants to buy and that player wants to go. We can only speculate, it is weird and it seems like we don't spend all that much in windows, yet we're always skint but for me, ideallywe get a new manager that is rated and we have finances to strengthen
-
I'm thinking finances, thats all. If it's costing £2m to move him on and it's money better placed in the squad, I'd rather see it spent there, get through his season and look at it next, i don't see us in any danger of relegation
-
whoever we can get in is a risk. lot of opinion i'm seeing is it won't be as bad as we think. I think we have quality players, we'll be attractive for loan players to come, you have to look at sheff utd and what they did, we'll be absolutely fine even with RVN, just think we need to pick up an experienced midfielder should Bilal go and a decent striker, posssibly loan to buy option
-
No, i disagree, give him pre season and 5 to 10 games, we'll know pretty quickly if hes worth keeping
-
paying him off isn't cheap, i think this season is a about first surviving after points deduction, resetting the squad, seeing where we can finish but really looking to next season when we'll be financially better off
-
we're brassic and just gonna go for as cheap as we can get though
-
We should just stick with RVN really shouldnt we, as bad as it is. Let's just sort the squad and finances out first.
-
We should have gone in for rafa last season. How old is he though, he must be very old now

is this club owned by the fat greek? they spent £60m buying Forests players last season
-
So what has he actually signed and what does it mean?
-
You'd think we'd be the best placed club to get him, especially when we offer him £100k a week on a 5 year contract
-
Being a bit slow for news, I had a trawl through old topics.

we went to a family wedding in december 2015 and my forest supporting father in law was trying to talk me into putting some money on us winning the league, i laughed it off like the idoit i am -
apart from they keep making expensive flop movies so not that far removed from us

Got my first leicester city kit around 1980, wondering if that would have been the badge?

It's amateur stuff if true, business doesnt stop for a holiday, should only be the players -

But who says he has to be paid immediately on being fired? I think its more likely the club (top) haven't decided yet, he's been like "let's all go on holiday and we'll sort it out in a couple of weeks, plenty of time". It's pure amateur stuff, I dont think we know whether we can bring any players in, whether we can ship anyone out, and whether as a result its best to stick with RVN, its another fine mess. -
Me and my dad new ST holders, I had one a fair while ago. It is venturing into the unknown but I still think we'll retain enough to be competitive looking at the quality of championship i saw last season. We won't go to all games im sure but with ST holders who haven't renewed easily able to get a ST next season in the ballot, you really have to take one whilst the opportunity is there
