Cooper wants the job. I am underwhelmed but the Forest fans loved him so he must have something about him. I would rather have someone who wants to he here than someone who does not have the heart and stomach for it. Good.luck Steve.

I have no insider knowledge. Enzo wanted to go. I was worried about him staying here in the prem. We got good money for him. Thank you Enzo. We then have to recruit. We have to be careful with compensation. Potter woud be free. Cooper as well. Pre season is coming. Everyone has gone and so we have to recruit sooner rather than later. We may have targets unknown. A shortlist. What we do need is someone who wants the job and who will do what he can with what is available. If that is someone we are not that keen on or is not first choice that's the way the cookie crumbles!

Fingers crossed we get this over the line. We need a good manager and he fits that remit. No compensation payment is a bonus. Fixture list has been kind.

Kevin Campbell In Hospital “Seriously Ill”

Shocking news. Seemed a nice lad and have good memories of him playing for us. Life can be very short. RIP. -
Players away. Euros starting. I can't see many teams doing much, just rumours flying around. When we get the name that is the time to comment. The club are very good at keeping a lid on things. Let's just hope it is someone we feel good about.
-
Patience. I doubt very much people are siting on their hands. We need a manager. We need a competitive team and to minimise points deduction. We are in for a rough season at worse, anything more is a bonus. Keep the faith!

Leicester 'could face points deduction next season'

Do the savings in wages count in the accounts? Will they come off this years accounts up to 30.06 or next year's? -
Daka did make some great runs but he also messed up almost every opportunity he had to do something in the box when the ball did get to him.
-
BR thankfully has left us. On reflection I think he got the benefit of Puels squad. As time went on the squad became weaker and demoralised. We should have got in the Champions League at least once. We did win the FA cup, which I never thought I would see. We now have had a refresh after relegation and let hope for better days ahead. At the end of the day we as fans want to be entertained and have a team that cares, competes and has some character.

We lost a game. We are still top and have a nice points buffer. We have some good quality to come back in after injuries. Happy days!

If they cannot get VAR right then get rid. It is ruining games. One of the great joys is celebrating goals. Now you have to wait 5 minutes (sometimes) before they can make a decision. I watched a bit of Villa game v Brighton. The issue was did the ball go over the byline (for Brighton goal) but they checked and checked and tried to find a reason not to allow the goal. For me it was clear that if the ball was in play it was a goal. Liverpool offside was just a joke. I would prefer a red to get it wrong than there be VAR and they still get it wrong.

He did okay. Neat and tidy and worked hard. He did not have a go at the left back but did keep us in possession. First game. Give the lad a chance. His replacement was electric and if that is a sign of things to come he is going to be a player that will get you off your seat.

There was a time Italy was the place to play. How times have changed. If they ever want to sign someone they say we like x but cannot buy him. Can you LCFC pay his wages while he is with us. If he gets injured you can have him back and if good we will have an option to buy. 2 million tops over 10 years and we will renege year 2. Rudkin "Err no!"

James Maddison completes move to Spurs
markko replied to AllGoneTitsSchlupp's topic in Leicester City Forum
He has gone.Good luck to him. He is going to need it! Kane going is a massive loss to them. They will be doing well to get top 8. I question why he would.go there other than London life and money. -
What does take a hit mean? Rudkin to JV. You are not very good. We want you to leave. Response. I have two years at x amount. Y will take you. We will let you go a free. JV will only pay me half what I am getting now and I like living in Leicester. Okay we will let you go for free and pay the difference. JV no I like it here. I think I will stay......IT IS NOT THAT EASY to shift.some one who does not want to to go. For the record I had hoped he would be okay at this.level but he just isn't. He was badly exposed yesterday.
-
I would say so, but what do I know?
-
If true it is actually quite depressing to think we could lose Barnes, KDH, Maddison, CS Tielemans, and Evans to good clubs and yet we could not stay up. Relation should have been averted. Hindsight.......

Leicester Vs Liverpool - Match Thread KO 10:00 UK Time

Vesteguard to quote the stereophonics " I have seen more life in a tramps vest. He has allowed a player.to come across him with no challenge and then has a look between someone who has had a lobotomy or forlorn hope the ball has gone wide.or.the keeper has done his job. Vesty you do your job!! (Sorry Roy Keane to nick your phrase). He is absolutely piss poor. I know we cannot force him to leave but I would put him as far out of the way as is possible. Before anyone calls me out and defends him, that is my view and it is not going to change. -

It is Sunday morning. Let's just relax and breathe. Watch and enjoy for what it is or go do something else. Loved Vesty for the third goal. Rooted to the ground! -
If they want him they should cough up. You can't hope to get him on the cheap and on loan and then pay in installments. We need the funds in now and we need all his wages off the books. He is not all that and if he does not want to be here, let him go.
-
I like Wilf. He isn't what he was but maybe he can play his way back to a high level. He seems a good guy to have around the club.He has really put his routes down here. It is not always as easy as let's ship him out and bring so and so in. They have families, schooling etc to think about. He will be good enough for the Championship.
-
Before his injuries he was my favorite player. if he wants to go, let him. if he wants to stay let him. I don't want any players here that think they are doing us a favour. We need hunger and fight. My biggest worry with him is his injuries. If he can get back to what he was he will be one of the best players in the championship.
-
He was behind Vardy. That was almost impossible to get in the team in front of him. When he first came he looked lazy and disinterested. He has scored some very important goals and if he had a run in the team I am convinced there is a player in there. As a business decision there is risk in getting rid and then replacing him. He should be our 10 as he has the ability to see the pass and play it.
