I may have missed something and may get a lot of abuse for this but I am going to ask anyway. Can we not get sponsorship from KP? That would, if possible put a name on the shirt, money in the bank and less need to sell our better players and additional money from shirt sales. We are not going to rebuild by selling all the gems and being left with utter dross. If we can get a striker in (not Bamford) we have half a chance with what we have. I suspect we can't offload the overpaid players but surely we could have got rid of Rudkin and got an able replacement.
-
Let's hope Rudkin has stamped file"reject" He is no better than what we have. What do our scouts do? Is there not someone young, keen, that can run and would be a threat? Buying players at the end of their careers is not what we should be doing.

Like a lot on here say, he is very likeable as a person. He has been behind Vardy who was almost irreplaceable. He is now in a lower league and our no 1 striker. Let that sink in. The manager will try and do something with him and if everyone gets behind him who knows. Manager may just want rid but honestly I can't see who will pay for him and pay the wages we are.

Please do not mention that name, even as a joke!

Wout to Monaco (loan with ~€8m option, official)

I agree. I don't see that there is a huge demand for him. -
Leicester’s most physically imposing player’s.

Bob Hazel. He was an absolute tank. Steve Walsh was as well. -

He has indicated he is too good for us and wants to leave. He isn't, but for me if his heart is not in it let him.go. -
Which part? You could be right and perhaps nothing needs to happen and then we just continue to slide. I think we are in a mess and would like to be reassured that I am wrong.

We get rid of Ruud. Pre season has started. No manager. No players out or in. No news on points deduction or stability of club. No changes in structure. I honestly thought we would hear much more than this. During the early part of this week. The only thing that has come out is that Iverson said it is all a bit of a mess behind scenes.
-
What we know for sure is we have Ruud as manager. No sales announced. Surely some should have gone out of the door. Perhaps the vultures are playing hardball knowing we are on our knees. No players in. I hope much is going on behind the scenes and will be announced next week (Good and bad). That will hopefully mean we get some comment on our financial position and the points deduction. I do not know how much Ruud is due to pocket but I would be tempted to make him see his contract out,.provided those in the know are convinced he is on the right track and players still with him. If he is going we surely want to avoid paying compensation. I personally do not like what I have seen but if he stays and messes up further his reputation will be on the floor so it is in his interest to at least stabilise us. It is a shame how things have turned out. We have been through tough times before. This time at least we have the most brilliant memories to see us through.

It is going to be an interesting week next week!

Can't help but think not getting Lookman was a real watershed moment. Good point you make looking at that list. Buonanotte should have been used far more as should Stephy last season. We could have been a a threat going forward and at least we would have had goals in us.
-
Remember when Pearson was here. We used to get very decent loan players.
-
What an absolute waste of space he has been. He just seems like he was forgotten about. Is he worse than Daka? God help him if he is!
-
Great thanks. Living off my pay off!!
-
We should have stuck with Cooper. We would not be in this mess financially. We would not have been any worse. We may well have gone down but we did anyway. We got most of our points from bottom 2 and Spurs. We would certainly be having a better preseason.
-
You will if we get deducted more points!
-
Perhaps Ruud is the man, perhaps they want him to resign. Who knows? What is for sure it was not RM. Personally sticking with Ruud would lead to more certainty. Certainly of results and goals for and against. Something for us to look forward to!

Ruud van Nistelrooy - New Manager - Official
markko replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
I wonder what would happen if the board stick with Ruud. Are the players on board? They may really like him. Would that mean an exodus? Who would Ruud bring in? Could he get us back up? What if there are no changes to the structure and Rudkin carries on. May be I have got it all completely wrong and this season is a reset but my guess is we would be fighting at the wrong end of the table. It all seems quiet but it would seem RM is not our man. I am relieved at that. -
Can we just get this FFP put to bed? I suspect the rumours put off managers/players last summer. It feels like we are hampered by the change in accounting period (June 30). We cannot get rid of Ruud. Recruit a new manager. If we can't do that then we will be behind in player recruitment and preparation. Reading between the lines we have breached and wriggled out of it but this is hurting us just as much as a points deduction, which we are going to end up with anyway! Message to those who can "Operate within the rules in future"

Facundo Buonanotte joins on loan - Official
markko replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
Buonanotte looked really decent early doors. I thinks as he got excluded he tried harder and harder to impress and made.mistakes. I suspect he will become a very good player and he has definitely got a goal in him. -
What can we do? I have not renewed my season ticket. I did not want to but could not stand it anymore. I think we will be in for more of the same but I hope I am wrong.
-
I think KDh went before year end. Skipp came in new accounting year. Ask anyone same who would they want and I would be surprised if more than 1 would want Skipp!
-
Do you mean what would I do if I were them? If you did my first steps would be to look at the football operation and assess who is damaging my business. They would be removed and replaced immediately.Second I would dismiss Ruud and replace him. I want a manager who is going to rebuild. That may take 2/3 years. I would move out the high earners who are costing a fortune but giving little back and any bad apples, where possible. Not an easy task as who is going to want them. I certainly would not be extending their contracts. I would bring in largely younger players but a few leaders/experienced heads. I would want in those players speed, strength and potential so we can get back to being more sustainable. I think wages were 103 per cent of turnover. That cannot continue. If you did not mean that please accept my apologies.

Pleased for KDH. Played a fair bit in Europe. He is a likeable lad and I am sorry he is not with us anymore.
