Claridge was a rare breed. I think it was the season we got up, when no matter how much punishment he got, he just did not give the ball away. We could do with a few.more.of.him at the moment.

Still silence. I hope we hear something over the next 48 hours. The rumours of points deductions continue. We should not be in this position. The mismanagement cannot just be allowed to continue. We have got to stabilise financially. We cannot do that with the same people in place. How much has Edoaurd cost? Skipp? Sacking Cooper? Sacking Ruud? Giving Vesterguard a new contract. That is to name just a few last season. Winks wages for the weeks he has been nowhere to be seen. Absolutely crazy.

It may be that RVN can't be shifted until end of June due to PSR but surely Rudkin's departure can be announced, unless he has put himself on contract of 200k per week for 10 years.

I have filled this in today. Hope it helps. The club really need to look at itself. They took the praise (roughly so) when things went well. Things are now not going well. The finances are being mismanaged. We have avoided points deductions so far because we have had clever lawyers but this will catch up with us and bite us. I think this hampered us last preseason and the pool of managers was restricted as was the market we could operate in. If those responsible are not up to the job then they have to go, it is as simple as that.

That is one thing we did not try this season. Probably because we had Vardy. I am not saying he would be prolific but he would hold the ball up and bring others into play. Certainly worth a go. Steve Howard did not score much but he was hard to play against. Perhaps we will be seeing this Sunday. I will say I would prefer that option to watching Daka!

Robins is one for longer term. He has built well at Coventry. I like Rob Edwards and don't know what happened this season but liked his demeanour and approach last season.

I don't know the answer. I would not go for Dyche. I think his brand of football would be a hard watch. Russell Martin has not been up to it. The club needs to stabilise. If we are getting points deducting let's just get it out of the way. Try and keep as much of the good we have and let go the rest. We really have been truly lucky to have him. Pace. Aggression, quality, mentality, great celebrations and just seems to be one of us. An ordinary bloke who made it big. Very rare and I am genuinely sad he has gone.

The BBC are supposed to be impartial. GL has to tow the line while employed by them. Having said that perhaps if they stopped being politically correct it would not come as a shock when someone says something of substance. Some of the things happening around the world are horrendous and people ought to be aware of them. It is a small world so it does affect us eventually in some shape or form.

This all comes down to recruitment. When Pearson was here we bought leaders and characters and lots of pace. Winks was good in the championship but he was found out in the premier league. Skipp will be okay next season but he is not premier league quality. They both came from Spurs. Look at the mentality of their players. I want Rudkin out first and replaced before RVN goes and we recruit a replacement. As much as Puel was given a hard time he bought reasonably well. The club needs to decide what it wants to be and then build from there. It will take time but I would rather that than any more seasons like this one.
